I know it's been awhile since i updated this story. I was somehow detached from my characters and have to regain every ideas i had in my mind.
What happened after the convention was an eye opener for David especially after Daniel left without a word and gone for the entire afternoon. As David promised, he took Daniel for a tour around New York City though Daniel had an idea what's it look like. The two enjoyed their time as tourists while exploring famous landmarks - central park, time square, new york national museum, to name a few. In every place they went , each memorable moment was captured and presserved with the use of David's recently bought digital camera which Daniel insisted not to buy and just use their phone but David silenced him with a kiss in front of the cashier. Daniel had to look away feeling a bit embarrassed from the sudden boldness of his partner.
After their exhausting city tour, David took Daniel to one of the most famous and highest class restaurant around New York. Daniel never tasted anything so perfectly and delicately prepared meals. Each meal served by the restaurant's well-trained crew had Daniel's eyes sparkle and with each every bite savoring every drop of sauce and granules of spices moaning in delight. David felt contented watching Daniel enjoy his first time in a 5-star restaurant. It took all David's greatest effort not to jump Daniel and make him moan in different pleasure as he he pound him senseless. Everytime Daniel moaned as a response to every bite he take, David had to bite his fork to suppress the building lust and desire that is emanent in his dilated pupils and Daniel's excitement isn't helping at all.
After their getting-to-know-each-other-very-well part 2 conversation which both of them enjoyed, David asked for the their bill. As soon as the waiter disappears, Daniel withdrew his wallet counting his bills with an intention to pay their bill but David snatched it hiding it in one of his pocket.
"What do you think you're doing?" David asked with an amused look. He knew that Daniel's 1 month salary can cover their bill but excluding waiter's tip. He thought to himself how lucky he is to have Daniel willing to give almost everything he have thus the sweet smile on his face never fades.
"You never let me pay a cent. Give me back my wallet. I'll pay for this dinner." Daniel pouts as he sticks his left arm palms up.
David just smiled at him crossing his arms. "No chance." In a quick flash the waiter reappeared with their bill and David gave his platinum card not leaving eye contact with Daniel. As soon as the waiter disappeared, Daniel's face suddenly lit up with excitement and started searching his pockets. David watched him with curiousity until Daniel found what he have been looking for.
"I know you always pay for our trips and fancy dinner. Even the hot dogs we ate at the park can't say no to your bank notes and shiny cards!" Daniel broke his eye contact and stare at the black box in his right hand before taking a deep breath as if inhaling every courage within his surroundings. David patiently waits and puzzled as to why Daniel is acting strange and nervous. After a short pause, Daniel composed himself and placed the black box in front of David. "I know you have better things than I can actually afford, but I would like to give you this as a simple gift. It's not that fancy and extravagant but it's the only thing my entire savings can afford. I don't know when is your birthday so, happy birthday i guess. Or belated if its over. Or advance. What I'm saying is, thank you. For everything." After his long speech, Daniel looked down at his finger hiding his blushing face.
David was stunned and speechless after hearing Daniel. He managed not to embarrass both of them by not jumping Daniel and kiss him senseless but rather he responded the one he longed to confess after realizing what Daniel would do to him. "Daniel." He said Daniel's name it's as if it’s the sweetest word he can speak of. Daniel look up still blushing studying David's face like the most precious art displayed in front of him.
"I don't know why i deserve such wonderful and perfect man like you. If anyone who should be thanking, it's me. Though you don’t need to give me such expensive item." he opened the box and he saw an expensive looking watch. "Thank you. For everything."
They stare into each other's eyes and the whole world disappears. None of them uttered a single word but their eyes filled with love and compassion says it all.
Their most romantic night wrapped up when the two was about to leave the restaurant and David captured Daniel's lips into the most passionate and love-filled kiss. David didn't care whether people are staring at them or they're at a public place. All that matters to him is that he belongs to Daniel and Daniel belongs to him.
This chapter is quite short and very late. I actually have the next chapter ready but for some reason i want to hold it back 'till further notice. :P
