For the first time, Daniel’s POV will be seen. I like how he becomes a little for a while. Enjoy.

‘Being in love is the greatest experience in life that a single person can have. It gives you limitless possibilities of being happy with each other’s company. Yes, money can buy happiness but that is just a temporary one. Once you’re done with that material you’ve desired most, the happiness will slowly fade and eventually you’ll still crave for more and that craving will surely be endless. Even if money is not an issue, even the most expensive car or owning an island can’t fill the happiness only love can. Love comes in different form and in an unexpected way. Like one of those fairytales, love knows no boundaries and it doesn’t applicable only to a prince and a princess because in reality we create our own prince and princess. Who knows? The person you’ve had eye contact while ordering your favourite treat may share the same feelings as you. We only need the necessary courage and confidence to convey what our heart dictates. If you don’t convey your feeling to that person you love, then it’s useless.’

Daniel clicked saved as he reread his daily journal he usually writes on his office computer. Few weeks since his encounter with Richard, he seems to love David more. They’ve been on a few dates like having lunch together though it’s work related he still cherish every moment the two of them can have some quality time. They sometimes fool around inside the office when everyone had gone home. There was a time when Daniel was organizing David’s desk when David snake his hands on Daniel’s waist kissing his neck and ear before leaving Daniel hanging and wanting for more. He sometimes talks dirty whenever he calls Daniel through his company issued cellphone earning few drop calls.

Flashback.

Monday morning as usual Daniel arrives earlier than David. He wanted to impress his boss so he decided to bring in his morning coffee and newspaper inside his office. He even wiped the desk and other stuffs around his office to remove the invisible dust particle and emptied his trash bin and literally became a janitor for the morning. As he walks inside the office carrying the cup of coffee and unrolled newspaper he accidentally spilled the coffee on his table. Fortunately no folder or piece of paper was stained so he immediately wipes it with tissue when David burst inside and shutting the door behind him with force enough to shake the painting hanging beside the door frame. The people working just outside his office are used to his banging of doors so they just shrugged it off and continued working. Daniel was in panic mode as he tries to wipe all the spilled coffee on the mahogany table but drops the empty cup on the carpeted floor when he heard the door. He swallowed a huge lump in his throat as he saw underneath the table two feet walking towards him. As the David came closer his heart beat grow faster and harder, hands shaking and sweating. His face paled thinking he might be punished from staining his expensive wooden furniture.

“What are you doing?” David’s voice was cold it makes the coffee turns cold.

“I….uhm… I was…” Daniel stuttered and can’t even construct a proper sentence.

“What? Does the weatherman forecast to rain coffee on my table?” sarcasm filled his usual serious tone and he watched Daniel tremble in fear still crawling on four out from under table. “You’ve been naughty Danny and you should be punished.” David looks at Daniel like a lion staring at a piece of red meat. He slowly walks toward Daniel who stumbled while scrambling to get up and landed on his butt, his face wearing an evil grin.

“I’m so-sorry.” Daniel still stuttered while crawling backwards looking around. “What are you going to do?” Daniel’s back hit the glass window and he has nowhere to go. He immediately stands up hugging the empty cup protecting it like a precious artefact.  His heartbeat accelerated faster than a racing car as David stared at his predator smiling wickedly.
