Nate, Sully and Elena stand where the group had just entered. Unfortunately, Roman suspected the worst and had two men hiding in wait and they are quick to hold the three captive.

Roman laughs as he turns around. ''You three should realise by now that I plan for every contingency. Now drop your weapons. Down there.'' He points to the water below them.

''No heroics, please. Or I will kill her.'' He adds, motioning towards (Y/N) and Navarro smirks, the gun pressed against the back of her head.

The three throw their weapons down and (Y/N) gives Nate a small smile of reassurance, making him relax slightly. His eyes scan over her body, taking in the new wounds she had with a wince.

''Good. Now, if you'll just hang tight, we'll be with you in a moment.'' Roman turns back around, walking towards the statue. Navarro swings (Y/N) around to face the statue too and she mumbles under her breath.

''It's magnificent.'' Roman gushes, stepping up. ''The craftsmanship. I've never seen anything like it before.''

''That is only a shell.'' Navarro says. ''The real treasure of El Dorado lives inside.'' Roman looks back at his statement, surprised and his partner laughs. ''Open it.''

Roman slowly turns back, moving forward and places his hands on the statue, pulling it open. As it swings open, dust and flies fall out, revealing a dead skeleton where it's hands were up and it's mouth open, frozen in fear.

(Y/N) jolts back in disgust, but Navarro holds her in place. Roman begins coughing as light fumes from the body emerges.

''Watch this.'' Navarro whispers in (Y/N)'s ear and she looks at him in shock and fear, glancing back at Roman. He closes the statue, falling down on his knees and coughs with a gasp.

''Navarro...'' He chokes out. He begins to growl and turns to the pair, his mouth wide like the creatures. He starts to run at them and (Y/N) tries to move back, but Navarro doesn't let her go far and he shoots Roman between the eyes.

''Adios, jefe. So little imagination.'' He laughs. Roman's eyes were now black and his nose and mouth red and purple as Navarro drags her past. She looks down in horror, muttering a small sort of prayer.

''Bajen la red!'' He shouts, signalling for a net to drop behind the statue.

''Navarro! That thing wiped out an entire colony. You don't know what you're doing.'' Nate warns and Navarro glares at him. ''Wrong. I'm the only person on this island who knows what the hell he's doing!'' He yells back. ''Cargue la estatua.'' At his words, two men begin to tip the statue onto the net.

''You are so pathetic, all of you scrambling around for your petty treasures.'' Navarro begins. ''Do you have any idea what this is worth, to the right buyer?'' He asks, pointing at Roman.

His men begin to tie and hook the net over the statue. ''Levantenlo!'' He orders and his helicopter above begins to lift El Dorado up. As it lifts up, the sound of growling puts (Y/N) on edge and the creatures begin to appear.

''Navarro!'' She pleads and this time he seems to be in agreement with her as he drags her up the stairs. His helicopter waits at the top and he runs and (Y/N) stumbles over her feet, trying to keep with the pace of him hauling her behind.

''Nate!'' (Y/N) screams, watching him shoot the creatures as he makes his way down. They make eye contact, his in desperation and fear, but it's broken as Navarro opens the door of the helicopter and pushes her in.

As she clambers in, one of his mercenaries follows. Navarro moves to the front, taking the passenger side.

''Navarro, you can't sell that! If it wiped out a colony, imagine what it would do in the outside world.'' (Y/N) reminds him, leaning to talk to him.

''Enough!'' He turns back and waves the gun in her face and she backs up, her breathing quickening and not wanting to rattle the cage further. There's a jolt as they continue up and pick up speed, flying out.

Navarro picks up his radio, a man talks fast on the other side and (Y/N) watches as he looks out of the window. She looks down at her shoes once Navarro shouts an order, wishing for a way to escape.

The man next to her loads his gun, making her head shoot up as he leans out and shoots down at the El Dorado statue. He laughs as he does this and she can hear the bullets hit the statue.

Deciding that Nate was his target, (Y/N) shifts sideways in her seat, lifting up her legs and kicking the man out of the helicopter.

As he falls and screams, his finger stays on the trigger of the gun and the bullets hit the helicopter, making her duck and they smash through the window. A bullet plants itself in the pilot's head, making him fall forward.

Navarro pushes him out of the seat, trying to maintain control of the plane as they fly over the sea, nearing his boat that lay in wait. The sky was painted a crimson red from the sun and the El Dorado statue is dropped and they begin to spin out of control.

All (Y/N) can hear are the whirring of the helicopter and the alarms of danger, mixed with her piercing screams as they head downwards.

The helicopter spins, crashing onto the deck and sliding to the edge. A smell of smoke and fire and (Y/N) collides about from the impact, the glass shattering. When they hit the edge, her head spins and she looks up, her vision clouded.

And then the whole world went black.
