[Mitch's POV]

Adam and I stare at the memory wall and I feel like there's something I need to tell him, but I can't think of what it is. All of a sudden, I hear knocking on the door.

"Hello?" Someone with a high pitch asks. "Is anyone in here?" I go to answer the door. I open the door and smile.

I open the door and a cold gust of wind hits me. A girl falls to the floor and I gasp.

Is that the dead girl in the hallway?

"Ty!" I shout. I begin dragging her inside and shut the door. I lay her on the couch and place my hand on her forehead. Ice cold. Ty runs in and gasps.

"Go make some hot chocolate." Ty nods and runs out of the room. I grab several blankets and put them on the girl. She looked 16 and had short, brown hair and red glasses. Ty came in with the hot chocolate and I felt for a pulse. Ty and Adam waited at the edge of the room in suspense as I could feel a slow, faint beating.

"Is she okay?" Adam asks.

"She's alive, but barely. We'll just have to wait."

"Will she be okay?" Ty looked worried as he spoke.

"Only time will tell."

"Uhh... Are you okay?" A man who looks 23 with shoulder length black hair in a combover asks. I realize I'm crouched on the floor. I stand up and smile.

"I'm fine. Come on in."

"Are you sure?"

"Yeah. I'm fine." He had a really high-pitched voice for a man who's 23. He walks in and sits down on the couch. I close the door and go get Adam.

"Adam we have a visitor." He and I walk to the man and he sits on the other end of the couch and I sit in the red chair by the fire.

Ty climbs up and straddles my waist.

"Couldn't sleep either?" He whispers, putting his arms around my neck.

"Nah." I respond. "Do you wanna tell Adam yet...?"

"Nah." He replies, mocking my tone. Then he smiles that crooked smile that makes him look like the cutest thing on the planet. I smile back and slowly press our lips together. I'm surprised when he kisses back with such force. I lick his lower lip, asking for entry, and he grants it. Our tongues intertwine and dance back and forth between our mouths and I close my eyes. I put my hands on Ty's waist, making sure we didn't unlodge ourselves from the chair. Ty begins taking off his shirt and I hear a cough. Ty pulls his lips away from mine and we look to see Adam standing in the hallway.

What? Was I seeing that through Jerome's eyes? Jerome wouldn't. He couldn't.

My biggums.

"GOD DAMMIT MITCH STOP ZONING OUT!!" Adam's screaming at me.

"SORRY" I scream back with almost as much intensity. "I'LL TRY TO FOCUS" my voice cracks at the end of 'focus' and we burst into laughter.

"So anyways, this is Brandon." The man smiles.

"You can call me Bashur!"

"Bashur?" I ask.

"It's what people call me." He shrugs.

"Alright then." There was an akward period of time where Adam, Bashur, and me exchanged glances.

"Oh! There's something I need to tell you." He takes a piece of paper out of his pocket. "My friend Tyler wants you guys to meet him in LA."

"LA?!" I shout, bursting out of my seat. "That's over 8 hours from here!"

"For an airplane." He explains. "You see, my other friend knows another way to get you there."

"How long would that take?" Adam asks.

"Hmm..." Bashur looks at the ceiling in thought then his gaze returns to us. "About two minutes."

My jaw drops.

"Well, I guess you could say my friend is 'magical'." He said after some laughter.
