Chapter 30

[Adam's POV]

I wake up with coldness next to me.

"Ty?" I call. "Ty?" I walk around the house a little, careful not to wake anyone, and realize he's not here. I go back into the bedroom and find a note on my bed

The title was 'Why I Left and Why I'm Leaving'.

'Dear Adam,

I realize that I left before to go to the mountains. You and I had gotten into a fight. I was gone, you found me, then I left again. Then, not remembering you, I took your roommate offering. I'm going to be completely honest, I had an affair with Jerome while you were in your room. Of course, you knew that because you walked in on it. I remember we were in another dimension. We thought this dimension was a dream and just ignored it. Then we found Mitch and Jerome. We were trying to solve the mystery, then met someone named 'Valerie' who helped us find 'SetoSorcerer', the sorcerer for our dimension. He thought he was sending us to paradise when we were sent here. I'm getting off topic. I left last time because I saw that I caused pain around you and couldn't bear it. I realize all this and, with a heavy heart, I place this note on your bed. You've probably already searched the house for me, but it's not a trick. There's no joke. I'm gone.

Ty Ellis'

I sit down in shock on the bed. I feel tears begin to fill my eyes. I hear a knock on the door from downstairs. I don't want to answer it, but I'm probably the only one awake. I go downstairs and open the door. A small, scrawny figure with matted hair wraps it's arms around me.

"Adam..."

"Ty?"

"Adam... I'm so sorry I left you..." I envelope my best friend in a hug.

"I love you too, Ty." He begins sobbing against my chest and I feel tears fall down my cheeks. "I'll never let you go."

[???'s POV]

I see Ty embrace Adam and smile. I knew it was going to happen. I raise my hand and they envelope in blue magic. I'll teleport them back to Seto.

He can't know I'm still alive. I've seen him with Valerie. Adam and Ty disappear and I know their back in their homes.

"Will they be okay, Lisa?" I turn around and see Mitch in the doorway,

"Yes. How did you know it was me?"

"Well, a sorcerer's girlfriend is bound to know some tricks." I smile. "Does Seto know?"

"No. He's with Valerie. Would you like me to send you back too?" He shakes his head. "I've already been replaced. If I return, no one will know what to do."

"Fair enough."
