Not So Insane After All

Chapter eight (Lucy)

Once testing started i was the 3ed to go based on my last name aeky, there was 3 test rooms based on last name A-F, G-M, N-Z. The other two were still in there mari and titi who last names were ack and ability. So i was next. I was called in by one of our female nurses, she's short with jet black hair,skinny but very masculine he wears a little too much makeup that obviously cuts off at her chin. She looks at the floor when she called me in, like she's guilty for something. As i walk in she slams the door shut. Then she stares at me while i see two men in the other room they slam the door shut. She started to weep, saying incorrect word of sorrow.

"Hey hey what's wrong?" i asked as she was starting to calm down.

"I can't do this anymore.... it's so wrong! We are supposed to cure you not.." and she cried again. I stared at her in confusion.

"What do you mean? What happened to mari and titi?" i asked while shaking her shoulders. She look up at me and shrugged me off, she started to stand. Then she finally looked me in the eyes.

"Zeke's father runs this place so when he wanted something to happen it did. This man was going to give him big bucks to make you all more insane. Then he would take the crazy ones and say that they were not safe for the other patients in here." she said stopping to look around the room every once and awhile.

"Then what?" i asked desperately to know.

"They- he would do experiments on the crazy ones, i'm zeke's ex so he told me everything before i broke up with him. I don't care what happens to me now. Its cruel to do such a thing to anyone. Even if they are crazy. The things that they are trying to do is horrible" i was in shock.

"So where is mari and titi?"

"Dead" i almost fell over. I stumbled. What was going on? Everything was happening so quick, why?

"HOW! HOW THE HELL DID THEY DIE!" i yelled at her

"Shhh do you wanna die to?" she said as she pulled herself together

"No" i said

"Ok well we have to think of something lucy. You are one of the only people who might deserve a second chance in life and not be stuck in this hell." well i wasn't the only one who thought this place was hell. "" want to help you"

"Ok well how do we do that?"

"Well umm ok let me think. i'm going to get us out-" just as soon as she said that the lights went out. I went to the power locked doors and it was unlocked. Someone shut off the power.

"Well this is mighty convenient." she said as she grabbed my arm and bolted for the door. We ran out the door and went for the long hallway. I heard tones of screams from rooms and the bathrooms. We got to the main door, it was wide open. We ran through and once we got outside i saw chloe, jack, and mark getting into a car. Out of all the people that could have escaped i'm glad they did. As soon as i thought about them i remember that mark was sick... he was the one who did this.
