"Hi Taetae," Jimin said shyly into his phone's speaker.

"Jiminie! Whatcha doing?" Taehyung's richly deep voice echoed out of the phone, stirring a warm feeling in Jimin's gut.

"Nothing much," he replied.

Currently Jimin was sitting on his living room couch, waiting while Yoongi made dinner for the two of them.

It has been 3 days since his dance practice with Jungkook, the ominous promise of meeting someone new hanging in his brain constantly. Who did Jungkook want him to meet? Jimin hoped he would be nice to him...

Not gonna lie though, Jimin was bored out of his mind, and he couldn't wait to see Jungkook again. Maybe he should ask Taehyung if he wanted to hang out.

No, Jimin's mind reasoned. I'd just be an annoying, clingy burden if I nagged him to hang out with me.

"Why'd you call?" Jimin questioned in a light tone, forcing it to mask his underlying fears.

"Oh it's just..." Taehyung trailed off for a moment. "I wanted to warn you."

Oh. Well that sounds pleasanty cryptic. Woo.

"Uhm," Jimin blanked. "Warn me of what?"

"Well...Jungkook told me about how he was going to introduce you to a guy tomorrow," Taehyung continues cautiously. "He told me a bit about him, and I think I know who you're going to meet. Did Kookie tell you his name?"

Jimin clicked his tongue. "No."

He heard Taehyung gulp through the phone. "Street hip hop dancer right? Isn't that what Kookie told you about him?"

"Yeah."

"Mm yeah I think I know him," Taehyung sighed. "I'm guessing Jungkookie wasn't smart enough to inform you that he's deaf."

Jimin's brain had a blank moment. Face scrunching up in a confused way, he stood up abruptly off the couch. Wait, what?

A deaf person? How was Jimin going to communicate?!

"Jimin? Are you okay?" Taehyung's concerned voice pulled him back into reality.

"Yeah I just..." Jimin exhaled, rubbing his temples in frustration. God dammit, Kook. "Gimme a minute."

And he hung up, leaving a worried Taehyung on the other end of the line.

Maybe now Jimin should start writing his will, because he was pretty sure he was going to die tomorrow.

Why would Jungkook choose to introduce him to a deaf person? It'll be super hard to communicate and not to mention awkward too. Jimin couldn't do this. There way no way. He was too unprepared. He should really just call up Jungkook and ask to cancel-
