"Hyung," Jimin whined, Yoongi raising a brow at him. "I can't believe I have to leave you."

Now that Jimin and Hoseok were soulmates, a completed pair, their current care takers were no longer needed, and were going to be given a new patient to take care of soon. In the meantime, Jimin had to figure out where he and Hoseok would live together. In the older's apartment, or in a brand new one, Jimin wasn't sure.

"You'll be okay," Yoongi assured in his soothing, low voice. And, quieter, "You'll be happier."

Jimin frowned, but didn't question the older's words.

In less than five minutes Jimin had to be out the door and on his way to Epiphany Cafe where he would meet Hoseok so they could sort things out together.

The pair also really needed to get to know one another better, since Jimin knew next to nothing about his other half.

It was a real problem. They could both feel in their veins how much they were meant to be together, but they weren't even close.

Jimin didn't even know Hoseok just twenty-four hours ago.

Holy shit.

So why did it feel like he had known Hoseok his whole life?

Because it's destiny,  a voice at the back of Jimin's head whispered.

Anticipation wrangled through his veins at the thought. He was so so so excited to meet with Hoseok, he may just have had a heart attack. As quick as he possibly could, he slipped on his shoes and stumbled out the door.

The tiny hole-in-the-wall cafe, Epiphany Cafe, was just a few blocks into the city, closer to the edge where the buildings grew shorter and shorter. When Jimin saw the familiar head of red hair, the grin that was already on his face widened even further.

The cafe was owned by Kim Seokjin, or just Jin, a man Jimin kind of knew through Yoongi. From what he picked up of their scarce meetings, Jin was a loud and goofy person, and his soulmate was Kim Namjoon, who just so happened to be Hoseok's caretaker.

He skipped through the front doors, taking in the delicious scent of freshly baked breads. But he was not here for the food, as he immediately ran over to where Hoseok was seated at a booth with a red-checkered tablecloth.

As soon as Jimin appeared from behind, Hoseok let out an embarrassing loud noise of shock, jolting away from the "threat" with a hand placed dramatically over his heart. His eyes were comically wide.

"Ah! Wh- Oh, it's just you, Jimin," the older sighed in relief.

Jimin arched a brow skeptically as he took the seat across. "A bit of a scaredy cat, are you hyung?"

"N-no," Hoseok said unconvincingly. "You came out of nowhere! Of course I got startled!"

Jimin couldn't help the huge smile of fondness. This was his soulmate, the man he would hopefully spend the rest of his life with. This man, who was already showing all kinds of different sides to his personality. This man, who was sitting right across from Jimin. This man, who even smiled with his deep, deep sunlight-brown eyes.

Jung Hoseok.

Jimin wondered a lot about him, questions he would find the answer to eventually. Did he sleepwalk? Did he think cats were better, or dogs? Did his family support him, even when they thought his soulmate was dead? Did he like anime? Did-

"Jimin?" Hoseok was peering into the shorter's eyes with concern. "You okay?"

Jimin was jolted back into reality, realizing that he had just stared at Hoseok for quite some time. "Sorry, yeah. Just kind of- spaced out."
