Jing Yi very quickly slipped into her clothing before she walked towards the tree. She had her claws ready to slice at the person that was hiding there.

The only people who could be here in the forest can only be Yue Long and his servants, who had all offended Jing Yi before and she wouldn't mind killing one or two.

As Jing Yi walked closer to the tree, she was certain that there is someone behind and not some wild animal. She readied her claw to attack the person however, when she was slicing towards the person, her hand was held in place by the guy behind the tree.

She could feel the warmth spreading to her wrist, this is the first time after she had woken up had she felt warmth instead of the icy cold feeling. She was brought out of her thoughts when she felt the grip on her hand tightens.

"What is your problem! Let go!" Jing Yi shouted as she raised her other hand to scratch the man. She had not once looked up at him, as her eyes was focused on the hand that was grabbing hers that was slowly warming up hers.

His hands were slightly calloused, and it hurt her delicate skin. As her other hand was about to get in contact with his face, he tightly grabbed onto the incoming hand with his free hand.

"What a fierce lady" he whispered, she could feel the heat radiating off of him when his cold yet slightly sweet voice echoed through her ears.

Only then did Jing Yi looked up, the man in front of her have a charming face. Thick slightly arched eyebrows that made him look stern, cold yet soft brown eyes that bring a slight comfort to others, sharp pointed nose and a cherry red lip. His long black hair is pulled back into a pony tail, and his long fringe are parted in the middle and flow down the sides of his face. In between his brows is a red lotus that accentuated his overall beauty.

"Let go!" Jing Yi shouted again as she tried to loosen the grip on her hand. She raised her leg and kicked his groin area hopping the pain would make him let go of her hand.

He however, only hissed in pain and never let go of the grip. He did not want to let go of the only comfort that could ease the internal heat that course his whole body. His hand which was cooled down by her wrist that he was holding on to, this had never happened before in his entire life.

He hated touching people and allowing others to touch him as it only stimulates more heat in his body making it unbearable however he quite like touching her.

"You're very cold." He said softly.

Why would someone be so cold?

"Let go of my hand!" She ignored his comment and roughly snatched her hand back, stumbling back as she had used too much force.

A helpless smile form on his face as he slips his hand onto her waist and pulled her into his chest to avoid having such a delicate female fall on her ass. Her soft body pressed against his hard rock chest, and a subtle honey scent flowed out from her body and filled his nose.

"So delicate" he mutters under his breath.

She could feel her body slowly heating up as his arms wrapped around her body. Slightly embarrassed and uncomfortable at this position, her cheeks rose a few shades darker.

He smiles as he saw the soft pink shade on her cheeks, the next moment he was startled. Cute little ears started to grow out of her head and slightly twitched, and 8 white furry tails had also started growing out of her back.

Jing Yi who felt her tails and ears growing, got more embarrassed. In her pervious life, she had never once faced with such an issue. Yue Long and his people had never found out about her true identity and had assumed that she was just some orphan girl that had great power that they had picked up in the forest.

She pushed the stunned vulgar man away and dropped onto the ground, covering her ears and sitting on her tails.

"D-dont look!" She stuttered embarrassingly as she tried to cover herself more. Her ears and tails are one of the most sensitive parts of her body, she felt embarrassed and threatened as humans would see her as a freak if they'd see her tails and ears.

Why are my tails and ears appearing! They usually don't appear unless I want them too! Even in the heaven realm this had never happened before!

She looked up at him expecting him to look away.

"Why aren't you looking away!" She shouted looking aggrieved as she slowly got up ready to run away.

"Don't be afraid..." He grabbed her wrist and pulled her back into his embrace as he rubbed her head. He wasn't sure why but he felt like comforting her and hugging her forever.

"Your ears are cute" he complimented.

She felt a soothing feeling budding inside her heart, it was a sweet yet bitter feeling hearing him praise her ears. He was the only guy that had seen her in this form, yet instead of being freaked out and disgusted he found her ears cute.

However, the soothing and sweet feeling she felt from him completely disappeared when she felt a tingly pain lingering on her tailbone where her tails sticks out from. Her ninth tail...

Disgusting. All men are disgusting!

Jing Yi pushed him away and glared at him in disgust. She then ran towards the river jumping onto the wolf's back as they left the area and headed further into the forest.

"Who is she?..." He asked as he looked at her fading back.
