Chapter 2

Nearly a year had gone by and Victor still had no luck, he had researched nearly everything down to a T but had no luck on narrowing it down to one person. He knew that who ever his soulmate was, was Asian. It was between Korea, Japan and China but surprised Victor to say the least. The ring was still the same shape, the pattern was slightly bolder but still not quite viable and the ice skate was much bigger. A new imaged also appeared on the inside, it was a medal. When Victor saw this he nearly jumped up and screamed. It was now November and Victor was very impatient because his birthday was soon but it would be the week where he would see another letter appear next to his soulmates initials (and boy does he need a chill pill). This was going to be a long month.

It's finally november and close to yuris birthday too! Yuri sat on his bed staring at a poster of his idol Victor Nikiforov, who was gliding gracefully across the ice. Victor was a year older than him so he already properly knew about his soulmate. Yuri sighed he was glad that he is nearly 16 because then he will be able to see his soulmates ring but he had a leak of doubt in his mind, the what if's seemed to hit him like a tsunami he questioned the tiniest thing he thought.
"I need to skate" he told himself, getting up from his bed and grabbing a black duffle bag full of his sorting stuff and headed out to ice Castle. When he was there he was quickly attacked by Yuuko who wanted to see him practice again. Yuri was soon practically pushed onto the ice, not that many people were there today which surprised Yuri slightly. He began the routine he had been practicing for a while, the majority of it was spins as he found jumps difficult. He had heard about a annual ice skating meeting which meant that all the top skaters of the world go to one place to talk about ice skating basically. this year it would be held in japan, and low and behold ice Castle. When yuuko told him this he nearly died, ever since he had been pushing himself to try and get a jump in his routine. The meeting was just after his birthday which gave him enough time to try the jumps. Yuuko had prepared him so he didn't break anything when he did miss a landing, he glided on the ice in a circle and prepared to jump... He pushed up and twisted in the air, now all he needed was the footing, the crossed his legs and moved one out for balance. He came down on his leg and wobbled slightly. A wide smile spread across his face he landed a jump! He threw his hands up in the air "yes!!!" he squealed in delight. Yuuko was practically on the ice "way to go Yuri!!!" she screamed as she skated quickly over to him whilst clapping her hands applauding him for his hard work. All he wanted was to show the world what he could do...
