The General [Chapter 5]

VillageChief: Who... who are you?

Aniz: I am Aniz Ool Gown. You will remember that name well as it is the name of your savior. But don't worry this village is under my protection. But I don't expect to do this for free now.

The villagers looked at each other in joy to know that they were safe and under the protection of a powerful magic caster. When the crowd left to go back to their daily life, Aniz, Y/N and Albedo went to the village chief for some questions.

10 Minutes later

VillageChief: So that's why you saved us.

Aniz: Yes I require information about this world because I would like to educate myself if I was ever in a fight

After about 5 minutes the VillageChief explained everything about the empire and other nearby empires to Aniz and Y/N. But just after The Chief finished a villager bursted in the room.

Villager: Sorry to bother you Lord Aniz and VillageChief, but the people say they saw knights coming this way!

Aniz: If that is correct then take the remaining Survivor to the VillageChief house then tell the VillageChief to meet me at the town square of the village.

Villagers did what Aniz had told them and stayed at the VillageChief's house. Aniz, Albedo, the VillageChief and Y/N waited at the entrance of the village.

Y/N: Here they come.

The knights came in the village but they were different then before.

Stronoff: Hello VillageChief I am General Gazef Stronoff. I have been sent by the emperor to kill all the knights attacking the nearby villages. Do not worry for we are here to protect you.

Stronoff then turned to you and Aniz.

Stronoff: Who are these men besides you?

VillageChief: This is Lord Aniz and Y/N. They came here while the village was under attacked and saved us.

Stronoff then turned to you and Aniz

Stronoff: You have my thanks Lord Aniz and Y/N

Aniz: It is no big deal, I couldn't stand by and watch innocent people get slaughtered.

Soldier: General, we have found a army of mages of unknown origin, and they are surrounding the village as we speak!

Y/N: Who would attack this village after the guards ran away.

Stronoff: The Slane Theocracy... they are the only ones capable of assembling that many magic casters and angels.

Aniz: Then that means the guards that attacked the village was Slane Theocracy soldiers in Imperial Armor?!?!

Stronoff: I'm afraid so. Butif you don't know why they're attacking then they're not after you, which means.

Y/N: It would appear that the Great Gazef Stronoff is quiet despised.

Stronoff: Indeed, well lucky me. To think that the Slane Theocracy wants me dead.

Aniz Thought: To think that in this world they have the same mobs in Yggdrasil.

Stronoff: Lord Aniz and lord Y/N I would like to hire you to, name your price and i will get you it.

Aniz: Sorry but I would have to decline.

Stronoff: Very well, take care, this village is in great debt to you but please grant this village your aid once again.

Y/N: You didn't have to go that far.

Aniz: That is fine I will put the name of Aniz Ool Gown on the line to protect these people.

Stronoff: I thank you very much Lord Aniz.

Just before General Stronoff was about to leave Lord Aniz stopped him. Aniz handed Stronoff a tiny Statue.

Stronoff: You're giving me a gift? If that is so the greatly except it, thanks.

Aniz: Good luck to you General.

After Stronoff and his troops left the village. The VillageChief came to Aniz.

VillageChief: Why is the General leaving?

Aniz: He is leaving because the target wasn't the village but Sir Stronoff. He left to go attack the enemy and cause enough distraction for us to escape and for them to retreat.

Stronoff and his men attacked the enemy but he was knocked down by and magic caster. After being surrounded by the arch angels. His men quickly came back disobeying orders and helped Stronoff fight them off. After defeating some of the arch angels, they began to be overcome by the mass amount of angels. So Stronoff noticed the commander and rushed towards him. He was blocked by more angels but quickly destroyed them with his martial arts skills.

Leader: Impressive, mastering that many skills isn't easy. Hurry and summon more angels to focus on the chief warrior!

Stronoff: Damn It. We're in serious trouble.
