Beta Monsters....AGAIN!? [Chapter 23]

"Wait! What are...we...waiting fo-" Clementine stopped at the end of her sentence as he stared at the creature that Y/N was aiming at. Byakko came right behind him a little surprised at the creature "What is that?" Y/N turned to both Clementine and Byakko "That my friend....is a Beta creature."

"B-Beta creatures?" Clementine said with a bit of shakiness within her tone. "W-What are beta creatures?" Clementine asked, slowly regaining her confidence. But Y/N just turned to her and shook his head. "Even if I did explain to you what a beta creature is. You wouldn't be able to understand." He said with a cold tone.

The beta creature let out a terrifying screech which made Clementine and Byakko cover their ears, but Y/N started to approach the creature with his scythe out. Byakko and Clementine were about to follow but a blackish fire caused them to stay back "You will just get in my way. So stay put." Y/N said coldly. The two of them nodded as they watch the battle that was about to unfold.

Y/N started to cast self enhancing spells. He wanted to end this battle quickly, so he started casting agility, greater agility, and all the self enhancing damage skills and spells that he could think of. As soon as he finished casting the spell, he rushed the monster. In a split second Y/N was already behind it as he swung his scythe right at its spine.

He jumped a few yards away. The monster stood there, still alive. But its reflexes were unreal, because when Y/N jumped back, he saw that his attack had been blocked by the monsters huge arm. "How the fuck did his big ass arm move that fast?!" Y/N was perplexed by this, so he decided to attack somewhere that it can't block.

     He rushed the monster head on, dodging any attack that was throw at him. Right as Y/N was close enough, he slid under the monster and sliced the ankles of the creature with his scythe. Blood, the color of black spewed from the cuts. A big pool of black blood surrounded the monster. It tried to counter attack as it swung its arm again back at Y/N, but he dodged to the side and within a few seconds you sliced the arm clean off and proceeded diced the arm into pieces. It may have been over kill but Y/N didn't really care at that moment.

The creature, obviously did not expect such precise and powerful cuts as it turned around and tried to run away. But it just collapses as its ankles have been rendered useless. Y/N started to walked towards the creature which was now trying to crawl away. He stood right above it and with one swing, he impaled the monster right from the back. Blood splattered onto Y/N's armor as he pulled out his scythe. He then started casting a lower level version of his "black fire" spell. It starts to disintegrate the body, leaving nothing but the puddle of black blood.

Y/N's released a sigh as he realized the black blood won't disappear so easily. This made him worry for his armor. "Oh damn.....if this god damn blood doesn't come off.....I will literally hunt down every single god damn Beta creatures and send them to hell!" He said angrily. He then quickly got back to Byakko and Clementine as they have observed the battle from afar.

     "So? Pretty easy, right?" Y/N said to them casually. Both Byakko and Clementine's jaws drop "YOU THINK THATS EASY?!?" They both said in unison. Y/N tilted his head in confusion "Wait, that wouldn't be easy for you?" Y/N replied to their scream. The two of them just gave a heavy sigh, seeing how Y/N had forgot the difference in power between him and them. He just sighed as he walked back into his base with Byakko and Clementine following behind.

     As soon as Y/N entered his base. He was greeted by Ainz, Shalltear, and Albedo. All standing there, in his base. "Uh.....what are you doing here?" Y/N asked with a hint of confusion onto why he was there. Ainz leaned to the side to see past Y/N, and saw the dead body of the beta monster. Ainz then sighed "Why didn't you tell me?" He asked a bit upset.

"Well what happened wa-" You didn't even get to get finish your sentence as Shalltear came running to you and pulled you into a hug "U-Uh....what are you doing Shalltear?!" Even Ainz was surprised as his boney jaw was hanging down while Albedo just looks at Ainz and back at you, wondering if she should do the same thing to Ainz. "Im giving my supreme leader my physical interaction." Shalltear said, giving a wink. Everyone was baffled, including you! As you just stood there, processing what was happening.

     Thankfully you regained your grasp on the situation and pried Shalltear off of you. Y/N then sighed as he turned back to Ainz "Right where was I.....oh the beta monster came out of no where and I would be enough for it." He said giving Ainz a small shrug. Although Ainz shook his head he then sighed "Well....I believe everything is ok then." Ainz then did a smirk with his boney jaw (Some how) "I will leave Shalltear in your care." He said as he teleported away. Shalltear was looking at Y/N with joy while you just looked back at her and sighed "Fuck....you.....Ainz." Y/N mumbled before walking to his bed and sleep.

A/N: Well.....I failed to keep the promise which sucks. Anyways, the next chapter is here and I'm going to do a sort of fan service but its more for ideas. Anyways, what do you guys think should happen?
