The Job Request [Chapter 12]

Before Ainz, Y/N and the group of adventurers could go for their mission. The worker at the counter stopped them.

Worker: Uh sir Momon and sir Y/N? There is someone who would like to speak to you.

Ainz: But do you know who asked for me and Y/N?

Worker: Yes, it is Mister Nphirea Balear.

Behind the worker stood Nphirea.

Nphirea: Hello there, I am the one who asked of you.

Y/N: Look kid, sorry to disappoint but Momon and I already accepted this groups request. Perhaps after we have finished this job, we can help you.

Peter: Hey! Don't be ridiculous, this could be big for you and Momon!?!?!

Ainz: What kind of men would me and my friend be if we didn't keep our word?

Peter: But... its a personal request, and not only that, it is from a very famous talent holder.

Y/N: Ok then, if you are that persistent for us to do what Mister Balear said.... then how about this, we will listen to Mister Balear proposition and then make our choice.

After this the group looked at each other and nodded. They then went back to the same room again and started listening to Nphirea request.

Nphirea: Hello everyone, I am Nphirea Balear. I am a pharmacist here in the city an-

Y/N: We know who you are. Just get to the point already.

Nphirea: Ok then, because of my occupation as a pharmacist, I need supplies. I will be going to the forest near Carne Village to collect my supplies and would like you and Momon to guard me when I am collecting the supplies.

Y/N Thoughts: Wait a minute, isn't Carne Village the place where Ainz and I saved the villagers? It would be very problematic if they spotted Aniz and I near the village and called us out.

Ainz: Well, my friend and I have already partnered up with this group. If you would like, we could join you after the mission.

Peter: No, you guys don't really need to throw away a big opportunity for us. We can do the mission by ourselves.

Ainz: Hm.... fine then. But Mr. Nphirea.

Nphirea: Yes, what is it Mr. Momonga?

Ainz: It would be much wiser to have a more protection and power on our side.

Nphirea: What are you implying?

Y/N: He's saying that we should hire this team to come along with us for extra help.

Y/N: I mean, I wouldn't mind, and it isn't a bad thing to have more help.

Nphirea: Very well then. They may come along with us.

The team then started to jump in excitement that they get to be partied with on only you and Ainz, but Nphirea too.

Y/N: Alright, lets go.

Everyone started to head for the door but realized you weren't walking with them.

Nphirea: Um, Mister Y/N is something wrong?

Y/N: Why walk when we can teleport!

Nphirea: Wait?!?! Teleport!?!?

Seconds later, the team, Nphirea, Ainz and You were teleported just on the outside of the forest.

Y/N: Well, now that we're here, lets get you your supplies.

As you and the the team collected supplies Lukret stopped and started to listen to something.

Lukret: Um guys? There are monsters coming

Y/N: Wait, what kind of monsters and how many.

Lukret: Well, it looks like there are goblins and Orc like monsters.

Y/N: If that's all, then this should be fun.
