One Last Time {Josh Ramsay Fan Fiction}

Chapter 4

I wake up with an arm holdly me very tightly. I look and see Josh, who was still very much asleep. He held me all night. Aww he's so sweet. I take all of this cuteness in and get up. Trying really hard to not wake him up. I manage to get up, so I go into my bathroom. I grab clothes and go in. I put on a baggy t shirt with 'Music is Love' on it and black jean shorts. I straighten my hair and do my make up. Why I did this so early, I do not know. I go back into my bedroom to see that Josh is awake and changing. Shirtless. Again. God I have terrible timing. But whatever. He's hot-I mean he's awesome.

"Hey Jess." He says as he slips a shirt on.

"Helllooo Josh." He pouts.

"What happened to Joshie?" I laugh.

"Oops sorry... Helllooo Joshie." I repeat. He smiles.

"Much better." I smile. He likes it when I call him Joshie? Ooh.

"Whatcha wanna do today?" I ask. He shrugs.

"I dunno. We could go to the mall maybe." I smile.

"Yeah! Let's to to mall!" He smiles back at me and laughs.

"Leggo Jess!" He says, holding his arm out to me. We link arms and skip outside chanting "Hi-ho hi-ho, it's off to the mall we go." Yeah we're weird. Whatever. Since the mall is like 15-20 minutes away, we walk. About halfway there, Josh puts his arm around my shoulder. I blush.

Luckily he didn't see.

When we finally get to the mall, we enter and get weird looks from fellow teenagers. In my head I flip them off. But in real life I just smile. What? Yeah. My inner self is a badass. Outside self, not so much. Anyways, I see Hot Topic, so I drag Josh inside. Best. Store. Ever. I see a 'All Time Low' t shirt. So naturally, I get it. I also get a pair of shorts and a black tank top with 'Music Can't Be Turned Off In My Mind' on it. Josh just watches me run around the store. I only have one bag so it's not going to kill me to carry it around. We walk out and see Jayden. She didn't see us, so we hide behind a gigantic plant. She doesn't see us and walks away.

"Good. She's gone." I say. Josh laughs.

"I thought she's your best friend?"

"She is... But she would make a comment. About us. Being at the mall. Together." He smirks.

"Matt does the same."

"Our friends are very annoying." We laugh and continue to venture around the mall.

"Oh look. The emo kid and the mute hanging out. How sweet." Ryan, the school asshole says. I roll my eyes.

"Ryan, please just leave us alone." He makes a sad face.

"But what if I don't want to?" He's such a God damn dick. Josh tenses up.

"Just go." Josh says. Ryan takes a step towards him.

"What are you gonna do to make me, emo kid?" Josh don't...

"Walk away Ryan." I say. He looks at me.

"Look. She talks. Who knew?" He says smiling.

"I talk. Just not a lot. Thank you very much.

"What do you have to say about emo kid here then?" He says pointing to Josh.

"He's my friend. And nicer than you ever will be Ryan." He laughs.

"Aww emo kid and the mute are friends. Thats so cute." Josh clenches his fists. I grab his hand and drag hin away.

"Josh don't let him get to you." I say as we walk away. He nods.

"Sorry. I just hate it when he's a dick to you." I smile.

"Thanks. It means a lot when you stick up for me Josh." I say as I kiss his cheek. He blushes a little.

"You're one of my best friends... Of course I'll stick up for you Jess." I smile. I'm one of his best friends... Wow.

"You're one of my best friends too. Now, lets go eat. I'm starving." He laughs.

"Same." So we go in the cafeteria and get Subway. Just because Subway is delicious. I get turkey and veggies, while Josh gets a pizza sub. I was gonna get a pizza sub, but I thought 'maybe I'll be different today', so here I am. Eating turkey and veggies. Yum. Not as yum as a pizza sub, but it'll do for now. We finish and throw our garbage away.

"What now?" I ask.

"We should work on that song." He says. Oh yeah. Forgot about that. Whoops....

"Yeah! Let's go back to my house and begin!" He nods. So we go back to my house.

When we get back, we immediately begin to work on it. Its really awesome so far. Like really awesome. I would tell you, but that would ruin the surprise. We probably worked on it for a little over an hour. We have all weekend plus Monday night so we can take our time.

"Sounds awesome!" I say. Josh nods.

"It does! I'm excited to perform it!" Shit. I forgot we have to perform it. I'm a little nervous now.

"Oh yeah... Me too I guess." Josh smiles.

"You'll do amazing Jess. Don't worry." He always knows just the right thing to say to me. He looks at me with those amazing blue eyes. I almost melted. I mean, they're so blue. So easy to get lost in...

"This is fun." He says.

"It is. It's fun to have sleepovers with people other than Jayden." He laughs.

"Yeah Matt can get a little annoying." We both laugh.

"We're so nice." I joke. He nods.

"And we're amazing and weird as hell too."

"Oh yeah. We are." I reply. He smiles. God. He's so amazing. His personality. He always makes me laugh, not very many people can do that. He always cheers me up if I'm sad or in a bad mood. His good looks are just a bonus ;). He makes me so happy. I love him so much. Yes. Love. I feel like we were supposed to meet. He makes me feel like I actually have a purpose in life. I just wish he would love me back.....
