Chapter 11 ~Drama~

ERINS POV

*3 DAYS LATER*

I walked to my locker alone today... Where's Ryan? He's never late. I got my stuff and was about to walk to class when Ryan showed up.

He had sunglasses on and.. Was he wearing make up?

"Ryan? why are you late?" I asked. "Family problems" he says. He walks to class with the sunglasses still on.

We sit in our usual seats and Mr Daniels noticed Ryan's sunglasses.

"Mr Smith, you have to take off your sunglasses in school" He said.

Ryan took his sunglasses off and he had a black eye. I looked at him inspecting it.

"Where'd you get that Ry?" I asked him. "I was being clumsy I hit it on my dad's car door" he replied. he didn't sound so sure, but I left the situation alone.

After I drove home I layed on my couch flipping through the TV channels when I heard Ryan's ringtone go off.

I grabbed my phone and answered it. "ERIN PLEASE GET DOWN HERE NOW I NEED HELP I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO PLEASE!" he said urgently. "Okay Okay Ryan stay calm I'll be their soon" I replied and he hung up.

I hopped in the range rover and drove down the street to Ryan's. I parked a few houses down incase a robbery or something. I saw him on his porch with a busted lip. "ERIN PLEASE HELP!" he begs me and walks with me through his front door. there I see who I assume to be his dad with a beer in one hand. a little girl stands there cowering away from him.

"LOOK THE QUEERS BACK! WITH A GIRL!" he slurred. he walked over to Ryan and slapped him, "I told you not to bring strangers into my house you fucking homo" His dad threatens him.

I decide to stand up for him.

"Listen here you homophobic bastard. how about you get the hell out of here before I make you leave" I threatened. he slapped me. oh no he didnt. I lunged at him and grabbed his neck basically choking him.

"YOU SHOULDNT HAVE DONE THAT YOU DIPSHIT!" I screamed in his face. Ryan called 911 while I sat on his dad to make sure he wasn't going anywhere.

The cops showed up and took his dad.

"Now so you two have anyone else in your family to take care of you?" The officer asked Ryan and his little sister Mae. Ryan shrugged.

"Do you have anywhere to stay until we find out" Ryan was about to say no but I butted in. "They can hang at my place" I replied . the officer said he'd get back to us in a few days and Ryan and Mae went to go pack.

We arrived at my house. I opened the door and Niall showed up in the hallway. "what's going on?" he asks.

"Um they have to stay here for a little while.. This is Mae. Ryan's little sister" I said.

Niall asks "What happened?"

"Ryan you and Mae go up to my room and when I'm done I will show you around okay?" They nodded and walked upstairs.

"Their dad abuses them Niall. I showed up and called the cops. Their dad got arrested and they don't know if they have any family to live with... THEY CANT BE ORPHANS NIALL PLEASE!" I begged.

Niall simply answered "ask your father" and I laughed.

I kissed Niall quickly and ran upstairs.

"Okay guys now I will show you where you will stay!" I said as they grabbed their luggage and walked followed me down the hallway.

I came up to the spare rooms in the house. "okay they are across from each other. Mae is in the one on the right, Ryan is on the left!" I told them and opened the doors. Ryan's was a big room, it was a peach color and had a king bed.
