Chapter two.

Becs P.O.V.

Work seemed like years had passed before it was finally my lunch break. I ran from my office at allure down the publishing halls all the way to the elevator and then to the parking garage and raced to lunch to have as much time to talk to Liz, Aly, and Jo. I got to the resturant and instantly saw them. They greeted me with smiles and hugs.

"So how was it?" Liz asked with an eager smile. She loved to hear about Mason and all the cute little things he does, she also loves to spoil him as bad as Aly and Jo does.

"Yeah was it hard??" Aly asked, and then Jo right after asking, "Did he cry???" looking nervous for my answer.

"Believe it or not but I cried more than he did, he loved it. The second I put him down he was making friends and laughing and playing and it looked like he had forgotten all about me" I bit back tears on the last part.

"Oh shut up" Jo said. "You know how much he loves you! He was just having fun! You know he is probably telling all of his new friends about how great you are." The last part made me smile hoping that he was.

"Okay, Okay, youre probably right" I said and she stuck her tongue out at me.

"Okay enough Mason talk, Aly tell us about Luke" Liz said turning to Aly who was blushing like crazy.

"Who, when, what!?" I questioned, I had been such a nervous wreck getting Mason ready for daycare I had been so oblivious to anything going on with anyone besides Mason.

"Well...." Aly started, "I met someone at starbucks actually, well not really he spilt his drink all over me when we ran into eachother" she started laughing "I was mad at first but when I looked up at him I completely forgot what happened he is so hot! He felt so bad for ruining my shirt he told me he had to make it up to me and last night we went out to dinner and it was more than amazing!" Aly was visibly glowing just talking about this boy. I felt a pang of jelaousy because I Aly and I were the only single ones in our group, Liz has her fiance Micheal and Jo has her boyfriend Calum and know Aly has Luke and well I have Mason. Liz, Aly, and Jo all gushed about this Luke boy and how they should all triple date or something and I found myself wondering about the guy I saw walking into the daycare this morning.

"Bec have you got eyes for anyone lately that we should know about?" Jo asked with Liz and Aly staring at me waiting for me to answer. I took a second to answer debating if I should tell them about the daycare guy from this morning, and despite my thoughts against telling them, I did anyway.

"Well, when I was dropping off Mason this morning, I was walking out and this guy was walking in and I only saw the side of him but wow he was gorgeous. But I cant help but think about the little girl he was walking into their with, like he must be married or have a girlfriend right? And I dont know he probably didnt even see me and its been so long since I've actually had a relationship I dont even know if I remember how anymore" The last part was true it had been too long since my last relationship, Ive been so caught up with Mason, I barely make time for myself, let alone a boyfriend.

"When you pick him up you better talk to him!" All three of them yelled at the same time and then began to laugh.

"But seriously Bec you need to put yourself out there I mean its worth a shot right, you've got nothing to lose" Jo stated and which she was right, maybe I should talk to him.
