Chapter eight

Becs Pov

Right after I got home I sent Ashton the picture of Mason and Peyton, almost immediately he replied back-

-Thanks so much, theyre so cute:)- I read it when another came in

-OH MY GOD I FORGOT- I read it and was a little worried 

-What did you forget, is it still at the park??-

-Nope its definitely not at the park.- I frowned for him.

-What was it that you forgot, maybe its in your car or somthing?- I tried my best to help him find whatever he forgot.

-I forgot to tell you that you looked beautiful today.- I blushed hard reading it, thankful he wasnt here to see how much that affected me, but I smiled at the text.

-You didnt look bad yourself:)- I set my phone down after I sent that to go help Mason get ready for bed, and was so tired I forgot to check it again before I passed out shortly after getting into bed.

-

"Okay wait so tell us EVERYTHING that happened yestereday" Aly basically demanded.

"Okay so when we got to the park Mason and Peyton started to play and it was just me and Ashton talking for awhile and then he asked why Mason called me Auntie Bec and so I explained to him what happened and for the first time I didnt feel weird telling him, ya know? Like he was great at just listening to me talk about it. And then after awhile I asked about what happend to Peytons mom and he told me that right after Peyton was born she walked out on them for someone else and now he has no idea where shes been for the past three years. Um oh and when I got home I sent him a picture of Peyton and Mason I took from the park and then he said he forgot someting and I was trying to tell him places to look for whatever he lost and he said that he forgot to tell me I looked beautiful." I could feel myself blushing all over agian.

"Youre welcome" Jo said with a cocky grin on her face and I looked at her a little confused.

"Well we did pick out your outfit didnt we?" She laughed and I just told her to shut up.

"Oh my god its like you guys are soulmates or something if you can both talk avo

"Wait what did you say back to him when he said that or did you just not respond??" Liz asked a little worried at the fact she thought I wouldnt respond to him.

"Of course I responded! I said he didnt look so bad either." I said confidently

"And thats it what else did he say?"Aly quizzed, wanting every detail.

"Well I fell asleep, but when I woke up I had a couple of texts from him saying that Peyton and Mason should have another playdate soon since they both enjoyed it so much." I left out the texts where he asked if I had really gone to bed that early or if I was just ignoring him. Which made me have to bite back a laugh at how embarrasingly early I went to bed that night.

We then started to talk about what was new with Aly and her new boyfriend Luke, but I really wasnt paying attention to what they were saying, I may have been a little caught up in texting Ashton. Since I knew I wouldnt be able to talk to him once I got back to work, or atleast till I saw him at the daycare later today. 

We payed our bills, said our goodbyes, and they had me promise to keep them updated on the Ashton situation which I tried to convince wasnt a situation at all, I still had no idea if he liked me or not even though, they all said I wouldnt know if it hit me in the face. 

The rest of the day at work was counting down the hours until I could see those green hazel eyes agian.
