Y/N sat at the hotel, you were nervous this was your first race for Carlin. All your hard work had paid off and here you were in Baku ready for your first season in Formula 2. Lando Norris your team mate had said he would meet you in the afternoon and would show you around the paddocks and the pits, it was already 3.30 and you hadn't heard from him, so you decided to go and have a look for yourself.
You reach the track as it was Wednesday you didn't think it would be that busy but you were wrong. There were crews everywhere setting up the hospitality buildings, mechanics working on cars in the pits, this was it, you thought this was part of the dream. You were too busy in your own thoughts when you felt a hard bump, oh no you thought to yourself, you had just walked straight into someone. When you looked up you saw it was none other than Daniel Ricciardo "I'm soooo sorry" you repeated again and again.
"Hey it's fine, no damage" he chuckled slightly at your embarrassment. "I'm Daniel" he said holding his hand out. "I'm Y/N" taking his hand. You noticed at that time he was looking at your team trying to make the connection. "Carlin?" He asked "Yup Y/N Y/L/N, Carlin Formula 2 driver"
"Wow" he stated then thought to himself he didn't realise the girl driving in Formula 2 was this beautiful.
He was soon pulled out of his thoughts when he heard someone shouting your name.
"Lando" you replied, "Where have you been?" as Lando embraced you in a hug more to apologise, Daniel felt a strange feeling in the pit of his stomach, was he jealous?
