Daniel's POV:
We almost kissed, I wanted nothing more in that moment to kiss her, but she pulled away. My heart sank. I'm not gonna give up though. I've got her number I'm just going to have to charm her through text messages, I sniggered to myself.
Dan: Hey Y/N, its been a while but just wanted to say I had a good time the other night. Glad to be a back up again if needed.
Y/N's POV:
He text me, this is cool. What do I reply this is Daniel Ricciardo, I'm sure he's got a string of girls! We nearly kissed that night, part of me regrets pulling away but he was drunk it would of been a mistake on his behalf anyway.
Y/N: Hey thanks for being my back up. I enjoyed myself too. Next time Lando ditches me for another girl I'll be sure to let you know.
Dan: He ditched you for another girl? That's ridiculous! But I'm kinda happy he did.
Y/N: Yeah he text me later explaining! Guess that's boys for ya.
Dan: Not all of us are like that. What you up to?
Y/N: Not much sat watching some Netflix you?
Dan: Sat on my balcony texting you!
Y/N: Balcony.... bet you've got this big flash apartment!
Dan: I wouldn't say it's big or flash but it's got a balcony with a great view of the harbour. You'll have to come see it sometime.
Y/N: Maybe you could show me when we are in Monaco for the race?
Dan: I'd love to. What's your schedule like for the next race?
Y/N: Hectic I think. You know we have 2 races in a weekend you only have to do 1.
Dan: Ouch that hurts! We have to race for longer.
Y/N: Ok I guess it evens it out then. But for the record you guys really couldn't handle 2 races in a weekend.
Dan: One day I'll prove you wrong love! So do you have time in your hectic schedule for a certain Aussie?
Y/N: Omg is Hugh Jackman gonna be there?
Dan: No, I meant your favourite Aussie?
Y/N: He is... only joking I may do.
Dan: I'm feeling the love right now thanks, and maybe I could take you for another drink or something to eat?
Y/N: Ok if it helps mend that ego of yours, but on one condition?
Dan: what's that?
Y/N: I'm paying...
Dan: But I asked you, so I should pay!
Y/N: What about we split it 50/50 then? So your ego doesn't deflate even more?
Dan: My ego is fine but thanks for caring about it .
Y/N: Anytime.
Dan: So it's a date?
Y/N: Best not tell Max haha, he'll think he was right.
Dan: I wouldn't mind people thinking we are on a date.
Y/N: I've gotta go, I'm in the simulator tomorrow so I've gotta be up early!
Dan: Ok you can text me whenever you want to. Dream of me x

What is going on Daniel Ricciardo just told me to dream of him, little old me, I'm nothing special, he could have any girl he wanted. Why me?

Was that too much she didn't text back maybe she's already asleep. I should of put a laughing emoji or something. I hope she does text me soon or I'll have to text her first again. God I must look desperate. In any case I'm definitely going to dream of her again.
