Volume Three Chapter Nine (Volume End)

"Damn it, we need to either cauterize the wound now or get out of here." Erin says helping Blake carry Yang. At the same time, Glossy takes a deep breath laying on her back once she reaches the safety of the evacuation zone, where upon arrival she had reunited with her team all with minimal injuries. As she's reuniting with Canary and Cindy, Rai checks on Dusk, himself not wounded, nor is Sky directly next to him.

"That's it, everybody on board! This is a mandatory evacuation!" Port shouts.

Oobleck steps forward still ready to fight. "A safe zone has been established in Vale! Please, remain calm and Listen to Atlas personnel! "

Dusk and Weiss were looking at their friends, Sky is checking the bruises and small cuts she has, Weiss and Canary stare down at Blake, Yang, and Erin, in horror at what they went through. Rai rubs Dusk's back as Glossy and Cindy look back seeing Ruby and Rei running up to the trio. Well more Rei lands near them, while Ruby runs up to them, Dusk is the only one to acknowledge the pairs arrival.

"Let's see Teams GREY, CFVY, NDGO, and SSSN are here as is Duke, I saw Cassidy and Mera running towards the school Ren and Nora are here." Rei counts everyone in the area a second time before turning to Dusk. "Where's Jaune, Pyrrha, and Ozpin?"

"Ruby!" Weiss shouts.

"He took Pyrrha under the school, Jaune's with them."

"Oh, I found you." Ruby smiled hugging Weiss.

"That's not good. Qrow, Goodwitch, and Ironwood are in Vale. Dusk... we need to go."

"Ruby where have you..."

"Don't worry, we're fine! What's going on?" Weiss just looks down in shame. "Weiss? What is it?" Ruby asks.

She then steps aside to show Yang missing her arm Blake who's been stabbed in the side and an unconscious Erin blood pouring down his face from the wound on his eye. Blake then reaches out to Yang and places her hand into the unconscious Yangs remaining hand.

"I'm sorry. I'm so sorry."

Ruby stares in horror. "Yang."

Sun then approaches the two teams with a reassuring smile on his face. "Hey. She's gonna be okay. The soldiers have a ship ready to take you to Vale."

"But Jaune and Pyrrha are still missing." Nora notifies the others.

Rei nods to Dusk the pair running back into the action, Sky turns to them, and tries to follow but stumbles over, being caught by Cindy, who shakes her head noting Glossy and Rai already giving chase.

"What?!" Ruby turns to Nora.

"Look, guys, that giant Grimm keeps circling the school. Even the White Fang are pulling out! We all have to go... now!" Sun warns.

"We're not leaving-" Ren tries to stand, but collapses back down completely exhausted.

Ruby nods determined. "I'll find them... I'll find them and I'll bring them back."

Weiss stands next to her. "No. We will find them. Watch after Blake and Yang. We'll be back."

Jaune and Pyrrha hurry their ways out of the tower, slowing to a stop as they exit just outside.

"Ok I think I have Glynda's number." Jaune mutters. "Oh, where is it? Pyrrha? What was all of that?" Pyrrha doesn't answer before an explosion is heard and the pair look back at the building to see Cinder fly towards the top of the tower. "But... Ozpin..."

"There's no time... Go! Get to Vale, and call for help!" Pyrrha orders.

"Do what?" Jaune asks. "Pyrrha, you can't! You saw how powerful she is! Pyrrha, I won't let you..." She shuts him up by kissing him before sending him away in a locker.
