Somehow, a certain girl named Janna Ordonna managed to make the whole "wear a costume in school cause it's Halloween" mandatory by persuading the principal (which is actually a dare Jackie Lynn Thomas gave her. Janna proved the dare to be "A piece of cake").
"Marcooo! A little help here?" Star called out from the other side of the room, struggling at how stubborn the top part of her costume was being. Marco rushed to her side wearing a white tee and some jeans.
"What is it Sta- Oh," Marco can't even continue his statement as his words were stopped by his own laughter. He laughed at how foolish Star looked. You can't blame him tho, Star's hands were placed in the back zip of her top (her hands looked painful to be honest) and her leg was carefully balancing the hairdryer she was supposed to use. "Please help." As if on cue, Marco loomed towards the struggling blonde and picked up the hairdryer that was on top of her left thigh, laughter still escaping his lips.
"You're enjoying this aren't you?" Star gave Marco a playful yet accusing look, Marco's laughter just doubled as he clutched his stomach. "I-it's just that-you look hillarious!" Marco said in between laughs. "I hate you." Star sighed, pouting at her bestfriend's actions. "Aw you love me." Marco grinned at Star, inching towards her and placed her hands on the sink before zipping her top up. "Done." Marco smiled at Star, which made the blonde roll her eyes in a playful manner, but she gave him a smile back anyway.
"Thanks Diaz. Oh! By the way, your red flannel's on the dresser." Star reminded him, placing to mind that he was looking for the flannel earlier. "Thanks princess." Marco chuckled as he went out of their shared bathroom and went straight to his dresser.
Star then went to her side of the bathroom to take the white bunny headband to complete her costume. She was new to this whole 'Halloween' thing but she kinda liked the idea, you know? Costumes and stuff. "Hey Marco! Are you done?" Star yelled at the door Marco went out to as she waited for the brunette to respond. "Yeah! Just a minute! I just need to mess up my hair a bit and then i'll be done!" The Latino yelled back. Star hummed in response as she went to her perfectly neat room and walked to her bed to get the green backpack that was standing there like a sore thumb on the mostly-blue room. She then grabbed the plastic sword near the doorway of her room and went out to go to the kitchen.
"Good little girl..." A voice echoed, accompanied with soft strumming sounds coming from an instrument (a bass, perhaps?) "Always picking a fight with me you know that i'm bad..." The singing and strumming continued, and a boy with chocolate eyes and hair went down from upstairs carrying a red bass as a prop for his cosplay of some sorts. Oh. It was the one and only Marco Diaz. "But you're spending the day with me..." Star almost couldn't believe what she heard and saw. Who knew Diaz can sing AND play the bass? "What, do you want, from my world? You're a good little girl~." Marco even purred the last part, And Holy Sheep, Marco Diaz' voice sounded GOOD.
Star chuckled, "Bad little boy." Star countered, at the brunette, who was looking at her with an expression that is clearly a shocked one. "That's what you're actin' like... I really don't buy..." Star paused, taking a breath as the brunette softly strummed the strings of his bass, mouth agape. "That you're that kind of guy~" She looked at Marco in the eyes. "And~ if you are... Why do you wanna hang out with me?" Star sang to the beat of Marco's bass.
The room went silent as the two teens looked at each other in awe. Not a single muscle moved nor not a single word escaped. "I... Didn't know you can sing, princess." Marco started, smiling lightly. "And I didn't know you can play the bass that well... Diaz." Star said as she blushed slightly. Marco just smiled and said.
"Let's sing together tonight, Good Little Girl."
