The Realm Hero Chronicles: Round 2

Chapter 10: Revenge

"Twin riots!" Tanessa hollered.

"In RAC?" Cragger asked, though he already knew the answer. If Tanessa was calling for a riot, the answer was fairly obvious.

"Duh!" Tanessa yelped.

"Hurry up, then!" Laval grabbed his gear, "Let's shut them down!"

"Is everyone here?" Naida asked as they dashed out of the Realm Castle, "Where are the Disney Heroes?"

"They're at the Hub," Eris called, "I'll dial them up. We'll have them meet us there!"

For the Disney members, life had dealt them a relaxing day at the Hub. Today was just a good day to chill out, race landspeeders across the desert, try to outrun Hero Destroyers, etc. The boys wanted a video game marathon while the girls hung out, trying not to laugh at the antics of the boys.

Currently, they were in a landspeeder race through the canyon. Wilbur was in the lead, but Hiro was catching up. He honked the horn. "Outta my way, Robinson!"

"Shut up and no way!" Wilbur stuck his tongue out at Hiro. The latter pushed a button and a massive cannon rolled out of the side.

"Oh no," Penny groaned, "Not an Ewok Cannon!"

"Oh yeah," Hiro smirked. He fired, but Wilbur performed a barrel roll. The Ewok slammed straight into the curve.

Wilbur laughed, "Gotta be faster than that!"

"Hold on," Lewis called, "Anybody got Eris calling?"

"Yeah," Violet punched her comm. "Eris, come in."

"Twin ri-" Eris' voice was cut off.

"Twin what?" Rapunzel asked. All six Disney members took a time out from the race, pulling out of the canyon in case the rocks were causing the interference. Didn't work.

"Maybe it's from their end," Lewis tried the other comms, "Ours work fine."

"Uh, guys?" Vanellope had come over and she pointed toward the center of the Hub. The swirling lights flickered and then vanished.

"In the words of Chicken Little," Wilbur muttered, "'Oh, snap.'"

Five seconds later, an explosion went off in front of them.

"I can't get through to them!" Eris punched a rioter, knocking him straight into the air. Upon arrival in RAC, the Realm Heroes had split up to take out the riots. Eris had a team on the west side of Roma, Laval had the others on the east side.

"Keep trying!" Zuko called, firebending a shield. "We'll need them here to shut down both riots!"

"Let's hope we can get through!" Gorzan uppercut-ed a pair of Tigions, "And fast!"

Wilbur's Electrobolt Switch crackled to life underneath Violet's force field. The others were fine - a few bruises and cuts, but nothing serious.

"What happened?" Rapunzel asked, "Is everyone okay?"

"Yeah," Lewis got up, "I'm good. Let's go fight." Everyone grabbed their weapons. Rapunzel volunteered to keep her ears open on the comm, in case the Realm Heroes tried again to contact.
