My heart dropped. I just stared blankly at my phone. Should I reply? Should I call? No. I should NOT call him. I'll sound to clingy. But I have to reply. I got it.
k. -Lilli
I put my phone back in my pocket and looked at my mom. She could already tell there was something wrong. "Lilli. What happened sweetheart?" She asked. I showed her the message. She hugged me as I try to hold back my tears. My phone buzzed.
I'm sooo sorry Lilliana! Something came up. I really wish I could skip it. But I can't let the boys down like that. I really am sorry. :( -Niall
What came up? -Lilli
A last minuet interview. I'm so sorry. -Niall
Ok- Lilli
I put my phone back in my pocket. I don't know why but I was so sad. Was it really an interview? Or did he finally realize I'm not worth his time? I knew a date with him was to good to be true.
We got back in the car and I really didn't feel like talking. Mom started the car and the CD resumed where it was. I quickly took it out put it in the case and threw it on the car floor. I sat In silence the whole way home. When we finally got home u went straight up to my room. I threw the bag of my new clothes in my closet. I got in my pjs and layed in my bed. My phone buzzed again and again and again. I finally checked it.

I understand if your mad -Niall
I decided to reply.
Don't be sorry. It's ok. Don't worry about it. If you don't really want to date me please just tell me. You don't need to spare my feelings. I'm used to this. I need to know. Just please be honest with me. Please. -Lilli
About 10 minuets went by without a reply. Maybe he realized I was right. I'm not worth him. "LILLIANA!" I heard my mom yell from the bottom of the steps. "LEAVE ME ALONE MOMMY! I DONT FEEL GOOD." I screamed. "GET YOUR ASS DOWN HERE NOW PLEASE!" She yelled. Now I was curious. I trudged down the stairs. I stopped suddenly. Niall was at the door with a vase of pink roses. I didn't know what to say. "I'll let you two talk." My mom said as she nudged me. She walked to her room.
"Um, hi." I said a little awkwardly. "Hey Lilli. I brought you these" He gestured towards the flowers. "Thank you. They are beautiful." I smiled as I spoke. "I couldn't say this over text. I needed to see you." He continued. "Of coarse I want to date you. I really like you and don't you ever think I don't. You are different Lilli. And I really like that. And honestly. It would be a privilege to date you." I didn't know what to say. "That is the sweetest thing anyone has ever said to me." I finally said. I hugged him. He held me tight. "So can we meet tomorrow night?" He said with a little smile on his face. "Yes." I said. "That would be great." We hugged again and he left.
This is going to be great.
