You breathed in deeply as you sat on the ground. Though the test wasn't grueling, it was extensive, to say the least.

Aizawa: Impressive (L/n). You did better than I thought you would. 

(Y/n): What can I say?

You breathed in deeply and slowly stood up straight. With a slight smile, you finished your sentence.

(Y/n): I tried my best.

Aizawa looked you up and down before moving to stand in front of the group of students.

Aizawa: Ok. I'll quickly tell you the results. The total you got is simply the marks you got from each test.

Aizawa pulled out his phone.

Aizawa: It's a waste of time to explain it verbally, So I'll just show you the results at once.

With a press of a button, a holographic screen appeared over Aizawa's phone showing the results. You quickly scanned the list until your spotted your name.

(Y/n): Ninth place... above average at least.

Aizawa: By the way, I was lying about the expulsion.

Everything grew silent.

Aizawa: It was only rational to draw out the upper abilities of your quirks, even through deception.

Izuku, Uraraka, lida: WHAT?!

A girl with black hair, wh looked reasonably calm spoke up.

???: Of course, that was a lie. It seemed obvious if you just thought it through.

(Y/n): I knew it had to be a lie, though it was still pretty nerve-wracking.

Tsuyu: Expulsion on the first day seemed a little too extreme.

(Y/n): I know, but Aizawa seemed dead serious on expulsion.

Tsuyu: Maybe something changed his mind. Ribbit.

Your hand raised to your chin in thought. What made Aizawa change his mind?

Tsuyu: We need to go get our curriculum sheet.

(Y/n): Right behind you.

You would figure it out sooner or later, but for now, you followed Tsuyu back to class and later the two of you walked towards your shared apartment.

Tsuyu: It won't be long before the real training starts.

(Y/n): True, but I'm not worried.

Tsuyu walked in step with you as she glanced sideways at you.

Tsuyu: I would reconsider that carefree attitude.

(Y/n): Why?

Tsuyu: You must have a short-term memory.

Tsuyu sighed out as you looked in her direction.

(Y/n): If you're talking about my injuries, then I'm really not worried.

Tsuyu: You need to limit yourself when you are using your quirk.

(Y/n): It's dangerous sure, but what's the point of being a hero if you don't use your quirk to its fullest abilities?

Tsuyu: Not when it can kill you. 

(Y/n): You're being a little extr-
