okay hello welcom bacc
this is a special chapter, where i'm going to explain the confusion behind the whole story and it's plot.
before you read the explanation: the whole plot was better in my head, but i suck at writing, so it came out worse than i wanted it to :) okay, let me explain now.
from the start of this book we know 3 main characters: naeri, eunbae and chenle. the start of this book is meant to confuse you into thinking that chenle and naeri don't know each other, but really, they are ex gf and bf.
chenle and naeri had to break up, because naeri was so obsessed with the guy she dated before chenle. she was so crazy over him, she didn't even care that he was a cheater and stuff. at some point in time chenle realized, that this relationship won't end well and decided to break up with naeri. as you know from the last chapter, chenle was traumatized by the breakup, until he met eunbae. and she really was his distraction from naeri. he thought he would eventually fall for eunbae, but didn't happen.
after returning to school, chenle starts suffering from the similar obsession with naeri. he was doing a bad job of hiding it from eunbae, and they eventually broke up too, but it didn't matter to chenle, as he was no longer in need of eunbae, he thought naeri still wanted to be with him (poor boi).
but the prom is really where everything uncovers and chenle finally realizes that he doesn't mean anything to naeri anymore, so he finally decides to move on ✨
that was a really bad story and a really bad explanation, i tried to not get much into details and i hope i did a great job ~
actually, i have thought about the idea of a second book, and...
it might happen! i've really liked the idea of dedicating the second part to jaemin and naeri, what do you guys think about that? do you want to read about these two? let me know in the comments ;)
thank you so much for reading this story, it means a lot to me ❤️ see you later!
~anna~
