Songs For Kit - Passenger Seat

It's almost lunch time and everyone is rushing to the nearest cafeteria or classroom to hear today's broadcast. Kit is still in the library and was about to go out when he heard the bell signaling the start of the lunch time program.

'Oh so it could also be heard in the library.' There are only few students on the library since nobody thought the program will also be broadcasted there. Kit decided to stay on the library. He chose the farthest table so he can be alone while listening to Ming.

Good thing Beam and Pha already left to meet Yo and Forth. He is supposed to follow them in the cafeteria so they can eat together but Kit wanted to be alone today.
Last time, they keep on teasing Ming and Kit that they were not able to eat their lunch properly. He sent a message to Pha and Beam that he will stay in the library.

Aim's voice can already be heard throughout the campus. "Hello everyone! I heard everybody is rushing to get to where we can be heard. Everyone is excited."

Kit felt his phone vibrated. It's Ming.

Ming: P'Kit, listen to me today na? 😊
Kit: Of course. This is my birthday gift, right? Su su!
Ming: Aww Kit cheered for me. I love you!

'This guy is unbelievable.' He can't help the smile from creeping on his face. He can hear 'I'm Like a Lawyer with the Way I'm Always Trying to Get You Off (Me & You)' by Fall Out Boy playing.

Kit: Did you already eat lunch?
Ming: Not yet, P. I'll eat after this. Are you in the cafeteria?
Kit: No, I'm in the library. Pick me up here once you're done there. Let's eat together.

Few minutes had passed and there was still no reply from Ming. 'Hands Down' by Dashboard Confessional is now playing on the background. Kit was about to call Ming when he replied.

Ming: Who are you? Where's my KitKat? What did you to him?

Kit laughed out loud earning a warning from the librarian. 'Oh my God. He is so cute.'

Kit: 😁
Kit: I'll wait for you.
Ming: I'll be there, P. Listen to my song okay?
Kit: 👍

Kit put down his phone on the table and leaned back on the chair. The Dashboard Confessional song just finished playing and Aim's voice is back.

"And I'm back." Then screaming was heard on Aim's background. "Are those screaming girls? Ming, even with a boyfriend you are still popular with girls."

Kit heard Ming laughing at the background.

"Are girls still calling you or messaging you?" Aim asked.

"I don't know" Ming simply answered.

"How come? Your phone must be ringing non-stop." Aim said.

"I don't answer calls or messages from unknown numbers. Kit would not like that." Ming said.

Kit placed his bag on the table and buried his face on it. He wanted to cry. 'I am so happy.'

"Poor girls! Kit is so lucky. "Aim said. "What?" Kit can hear Ming talking but he can't properly hear what he is saying. Then the sound was back to normal. "Sorry guys just some technical issues. What did you say, Nong?"

"It's the other way around, P. I am so lucky to have him." Kit swears Ming is smiling while saying those words. He let the tears freely fall. He is crying but a smile remain etched on his face.

"Love is in the air." Aim said. "But I'm an effin contradiction. Me and my zero love life." He sighed. Laughing can be heard at the background. " Oh, these girls are laughing at my non-existent love life and because of that I will play more songs. You wait for N' Ming until crows became white." Then 'Stuck In The Moment' by U2 started playing.
