"Let's break up."

Ming could not believe what he just heard Kit say. "P'Kit?" He tried to hold his hand but Kit moved back away from him.

"I'm tired of all of these." Kit said. "I'm tired of explaining to you." Kit sadly looked at Ming. Kit had dinner with Aim - a classmate and Ming got jealous. He had explained to him before. Kit is so tired of explaining himself everytime Ming see him with Aim. "You don't trust me and you are hurting me."

'I am hurting, Kit.' Ming looked at the face he loves so much now full of pain. 'If I'm already hurting him then would it be better to just let him go?' He moved closer to Kit and tried to hug him but Kit pushed him away.

"Stop it, Ming." Kit looked intently at Ming. "It's over. We are over."

Ming looked at Kit in the eyes. All he can see is pain. 'I never thought I will be the one to hurt him like this.' He slowly turned around and left the room.

Ming woke up with a killer headache. He stayed in the bar until he could no longer sit straight. He wanted to forget everything even just for a short time although he knew that he will remember every bit of it tomorrow when he wakes up.

'We are over.'

Kit's words keep on playing on his head like a mantra.

Kit is gone and it is his fault.

'Was it really wrong to love a person so much you made him your world? I guess so. Did they say too much of anything is bad. I love him too much that I ended up hurting him.'

He wiped the tears that fall down his face. He needs to respect Kit's decision or he will end up hurting him more.

He coughed as he tried to get out of his bed. He felt so much under the weather since the night Kit broke up with him. His insomnia is back so he wasn't able to rest properly these past few days. Last night was the only sleep he had in days. He silently thank the alcohol for the good sleep he had. He used to take sleeping pills but he stopped needing those pills when he and Kit got together. He sleeps so easily when Kit is beside him or by just hearing his voice over the phone.

He looked at the clock.

'6:00 am.'

He was able to sleep for three hours but he only has an hour to prepare for school. His day starts earlier than his block mates because he took additional subjects this semester. He wanted to have more free time for next year so he can take care of Kit when he started on his hospital duties.

'Guess I won't need those free time anymore. Should I just drop these subjects?'

He contemplated as he made his way to the bathroom.

'Nah. I can just add hours on work so I can save more.'

After his classes, he works as a mechanic on one of the shop owned by Wayo's father. He needed money for his dorm and everyday needs. He is silently thanking God he was granted the scholarship he applied for last school year or he will be force to transfer school. He will not be able to afford the tuition fee in Kanthapat University with just part time work as a mechanic. His dorm was paid for the whole year by his grandparents but he cannot allow them to do that again for him next school year. They are already old and should not be bothered by their nuisance of a grandson. He sighed. He suddenly feels guilty spending his money on alcohol last night.
