Chapter 3

Anna POV
I opened my eyes and instantly felt pain on my face, I groaned and sat up slowly looking out from one eye and noticed that my breath coming out uneven when I breathe from my nose.

I got up and walked to the bathroom and seen what Ed did to me: my right eye was swollen, my nose broken, and a busted lip. Just like what Shane said.

I lifted up my hands and placed them on my nose

Crack!
I took a deep breath and let it out slowly. I turned the water on, washed and dried my face, and exited out the RV.

You're probably wondering why I didn't scream in pain, well Ed abused me so much. When he made my shoulder bone or my nose pop out of place he snapped it back because he was afraid of going to the doctors and them finding out and he didn't want to go because he was a poor asshole and didn't have the money for them to fix me. He did it so much that I barely feel it anymore.

I closed the RV door, loudly, I saw everyone looking at me. I looked over and saw mom and Sophia by Ed taking care of him. I rolled my good eye and saw Shane walking towards me.

"How you feeling?" He asked, worry in his voice.

"Fine, I'm used to it." I stated, no emotion in my voice.

He nodded and said, "Let me know when you need anything."

I nodded and thought about it, I didn't have a place to sleep because 1) I'm not going near Ed ever again or I might kill him in his sleep. 2) the RV's couch is really comfortable. Glenn and Shane are the only people that has a tent by themselves and no way was I sharing a tent with pizza boy so the only person I can sleep with is Shane.

I looked over at Shane and asked, "Can I sleep in your tent? The couch is really uncomfortable"

He looked at me and thought about it for a minute and said, "Yeah that's fine with me."

I nodded and went into his tent, but I forgot my sleeping bag. I looked at his "bed" 'fuck it' I thought, crawling into his bed and quickly going to sleep.

Shane POV
I nodded at Anna and told her it was perfectly fine to sleep in my tent. She went into my tent and probably fell asleep I would to if I got hit. I looked at my tent and started to smile, but I quickly shook my head and gathered everybody up.

"We need to make a run for food and ammo so whoever is going you all leave at sunrise tomorrow"

They all nodded and so far we have: Glenn, Merle, T-dog, Jacqui, Morales, and Andrea is all going. I nodded and told everyone to go to sleep, they all went into their tent and went to bed and I followed them.

I opened my tent and went inside and saw Anna sleeping on my bed I awed and moved a strand of her hair off her forehead, she looked so peaceful and beautiful when she sleeps. Yeah Lori is pretty, but Anna was prettier than Lori. I smiled and thought about the weather, the nights are getting colder and colder everyday I lifted my hand and put it on her forehead 'shit she's freezing' I thought. I unzipped my sleeping bag and quietly slipped in behind Anna I zipped us back up and Anna quickly cuddled into my chest, I smiled at her cuteness I pet her hair and kissed her forehead "Goodnight Anna" I whispered. I put one of my hands on her waist and my other hand on the back of her head tangling my fingers in her golden locks 'Why am I feeling like this with Anna? Why does my stomach get upset every time I look or think about her.... am I sick?' I thought then went to bed.
