Chapter 6

Anna POV
After me and Shane kissed I knew I had feeling for the sheriff.

After I was done putting the wet clothes in the basket, I picked up the basket and walked to the drying rack, which is two trees and in the middle has a string, I started pinning up all the clothes. After I was done with all the laundry I picked up the basket and set it down in the RV for future use.

People were staring at me and I saw all the girls whisper something to the group 'probably about the kiss' I thought, rolling my eyes. I walked to Shane's tent until my mother stopped me "Shane and Anna sitting in a tree F-U-C-K-I-N-G" mom sang. All the adults started laughing while poor Carl and Sophia were asking the adults what that word means.

I raised my middle finger to all of them making them laugh harder. Some are not breathing and clapping like a retarded seal, a few of them are on the ground rolling around clutching on their stomachs, and the rest of them are just laughing really loudly.

I entered Shane's tent, grabbed my bow and arrows, and exited out of the tent "I'm going hunting" I stated, walking to the woods.

Finally after hours and hours of hunting I caught: a few rabbits, about a dozen or two of squirrels, and a deer. I picked up the deer and put him over my shoulder and walked back to camp.

When I came out of the woods everyone was staring at me, I smiled from ear to ear at everyone's shocked faces "Where do you want me to put them?" I asked.

My mom pointed a finger by her chair, I nodded and set the deer down and untied the rope and put the rabbits and squirrels on top of the deer.

I entered the tent and quietly crawled in next to a sleeping, snoring Shane. I turned my back to him he turned around and put his hand on my hip.

"I think I love you Anna" he mumbled and then he went back to snoring.

I grabbed his hand and intertwined our hands together, moving our hands to my stomach "I think I love you too Shane" I mumbled. I let sleep take over me and welcome dreamland with open arms.

The next morning
I woke up and saw me laying on Shane's chest I looked up and saw he was still asleep. I smiled at his sleeping face.

I felt him move around and I quickly closed my eyes and acted like I was sleeping.

He woke up and looked at me and saw his hand was on my waist and started moving his fingers.

'Oh no I'm ticklish there!' I bit my tongue to stop from laughing but he moved his hand up more and I couldn't help it. I laughed really loud that surprised him he had wide eyes but then he squinted them and a smirk came on his face "Mercy" I squeaked. He tackled me and started to tickle my sides and armpits making me wheeze and can't breathe, my stomach and eyes hurt from laughing and crying.

Finally after a million of "Please stop" he finally stopped and I laid on my back and started to breathe really heavy while he was on his knees beside me doing the same thing.

I looked at him in his beautiful chocolate eyes and he stared in my eyes and we had a little staring contest.

He started leaning in and I started to sit up I closed my eyes and waited for his pink lips on mine, but it didn't happen I opened my eyes and saw him smiling at me and I smiled with him.

Suddenly, he picked me up and walked out the tent with me on his shoulder. I screamed, kicked, and hit him, people looked at us and started to follow us. He was walking to the quarry when I had the perfect idea I looked down and saw he had shorts on and some of his boxers were sticking out I stopped hitting him and reached down, grabbed his boxers, pulled up, and let them go making it snap back into place. He tensed up and started walking again people behind us started to laugh I looked at them and laughed with them.

Smack!

Officer Shane Walsh just smacked my ass I looked down at the ground feeling my face getting hot making people laugh harder seeing my tomato red face.

We arrived at the water and Shane threw me in, but I had a plan when he threw me in I grabbed his hand making him fall in the water with me.

We swam up and started splashing each other. I got out the water and ran to the tent, got some clothes, and ran to the RV to change into my ripped jeans and a black tank top.

I exited out the RV when I heard a car alarm coming closer to camp. We looked over and saw a red car pulling into camp.

Glenn got out the car and we started to yell at him to turn the alarm off, he smiled "I don't know how!" He yelled, throwing his arms up with a big grin on his face.

I walked up to the car and told him to pop the hood. He opened the car and pulled the lever making the hood rise up I grabbed the hood and lifted it up and yanked the alarm cords out making the car go silent and making everyone stare at me. I looked at Shane and he looked at me with lust in his eyes. I winked at him and he looked down with a big blush on his face.

I looked at Glenn and hugged him and everybody else that went on the run, but I didn't see Merle anywhere. I ran to Glenn "Where's Merle?" I questioned. He stared into my eyes and slowly shook his head left to right. I shook my head not believing what he's telling me I started to cry I backed away from Glenn "no no no no" I mumbled, dragging my fingers through my hair.

Glenn walked to me and hugged me making me cry in his chest while he petted my hair.

"How did you guys get out you said you were surrounded by walkers?" Shane questioned.

Glenn looked at him, while rocking me back to forth, "New guy he got us out," Glenn answered. Morales turned to the van and yelled "Hey helicopter boy come say hello!"

I looked at the truck to see a guy in a police uniform. I looked at him and the rest of the group and I noticed Carl had a big smile on his face and slowly walking towards the man while Shane and Lori dropped their smiles looking at the man, to each other, then back to the man again.

"Dad! Dad!" Carl screamed running to the officer.

The officer dropped on his knees and bear hugged Carl and letting out tears of joy, he stood up and slowly walked to Lori with Carl in his arms, like his life depended on it, he embraced Lori and started kissing her hair.

I stopped crying and slowly pushed Glenn off of me he stood by me and watched the family reunion. I looked at Shane and saw he was staring at the new guy. I hit Glenn with my shoulder, he looked at me and I nodded my head at Shane. "Why is Shane staring like that to the new guy?"

He looked at me with wide eyes "You don't know!?" He whispered.

I looked back at him, confusion in my eyes "Know what?" I whispered back, a smile forming on my face.

Glenn put his lips next to my ear and whispered, "Shane and Lori were doing 'it' in the woods when Lori's husband died and I'm guessing that's her husband."

My smiled dropped and I stared at Glenn he nodded his head and looked down.

I looked at the ground with him and kicked the ground making some dirt fly up I looked at Glenn "Can I stay with you for a while?" I asked.

He looked at me and nodded. He took my hand and lead me to his tent.

I looked at him and nodded my head in thanks he nodded back and went back to the group while I entered his tent and laid down I turned on my side and let the tears fall down I brought my knees up to my chest and hugged them 'how could Shane do that I thought he was actually having feelings for me' Was my last thought before I went to bed with a tear stained face.
