"And now the lad wants nothing to do with You?" The scientist asked the soldier as they sat at the picnic bench offside of the soccer court.
They sat opposite each other for easy conversation.
They had drawn 5 each, Jack was pretty amazed at her skills as she insisted it was her first time playing.

"Yeah" Jack shrugged.
"I could make you a loving potion" she offered.
"All I'd need is some of his D.N.A" she explained.

"D.N.A?" Jack raised an eyebrow at how crazy the woman was being.
"That could be his spit, blood, semen or hair" she explained to him what she meant.

"I'm fine on the potion, thanks" he denied her rather creepy offer.
She was just trying to be nice and Jack understood that but he couldn't force Gabe to love him.
It wasn't right.

"Ah, it is you two" Ana came out with a tray and three tea cups.
"Hey Ana" Jack smiled and she sat down next to Moira.

"I thought you both would like some tea" She dished out the cups for each of them.

"Ah, I've always said you make the best tea, Ana" The Ginger smiled as she sipped the tea from the cup.
Her finger nails on one side where long while on the other they where short.

"What's up with your hands?" Jack asked her, not trying to offend her in Any way.
"Ah, in conducting several experiments on myself to make me a somewhat of a super human" she began.

"One hand is supposed to give as the other takes away" She said as she fixed her purple tie which she wore proudly.
"Unfortunately I can only make my hand give and in finding difficulty in making the other take" She huffed.
She was very intelligent.
Like super duper mega intelligent.

"Sweet" Jack shook his head.
"Ana, you didn't see Gabriel did you?" He asked hopefully.
"Yes actually I did" she said before taking a large sip of her warm tea.
"He's in the room with Angela" she told him.

Jack's face fell from a smile to a frown in a matter of milliseconds.
"Are you serious?" He looked at her sadly.
"I am, Jack" she nodded, knowing how sad Jack must've felt as Angela had told her about him and Reyes being together.

"I'm sure you'll both be okay" Ana put her hand over Jacks, not in a flirtatious way that she used to do but in a comforting motherly and friendly way.
"He's just being so cold-"
"I could set fire to him" Moira offered.
Wow, Moira seemed like a good friend.

"I'm fine on That" he shook his head at her with widened eyes.
He didn't exactly want the love of his life to be set ablaze.
"Well I have matches if you want to think on it" She told him.

"No" he shook his head at her.
"What's he doing in there with Angela?" Jack asked.
"I have no idea but they where pretty pushy on getting me out" she told him, she knew what they where doing but didn't want to tell Jack.

"I swear to god if he sleeps with her I'll never talk to him again" he sat his face onto the table in his arms.
Moira looked at Ana before moving to sit next to the sad boy.

"He is Stupid, stupidity is not a right" she put her hand on his back.
He breathed softly and let out a long sigh.

"Has he slept with her before?" Moira asked Ana  as she knew Jack would not want to talk about it.
Ana nodded to her with a fixed and irritated expression.

"He met my sister and everything" He mumbled into his hands.
"There, there" Moira patted his back, not sure how to comfort people.
"Slowly he will realise that failure is all that awaits him" Moira told him.

"Damn, that's dark" Jack snickered at what she said as he wiped his blue eyeballs.
"You will be feeling much better shortly, sometimes friendship is the bond that overcomes guilt and pleasure" she told him.

Jack didn't know what's he meant but he nodded because she sure did sound smart!

"Maybe you're right" he shrugged.
"Women are always right" Ana told him.
