"Jack" a voice knocked on the other side of the door.

He sat up from his bed and stood at him.
It was early in the morning and his ears weren't fully working yet so he couldn't make out who had said his name.

"If this is Gabriel then go away" he sighed.
"It's not him" he suddenly recognised the feminine voice and opened the door to find Ana smiling at him with a hot cup of tea.

"I heard about what happened" she sighed handing him the teacup with a saucer so he didn't burn himself.

"Me and my husband faught all the time before..." she didn't finish her sentence.

"Well....i don't exactly know what happened but you can see my point" she told him, placing her soft hand on his shoulder.

"It's different, Ana" Jack sighed.

"It's not just fighting it's-"

"I know he slept with Angela, Gabe told me about it earlier this morning" Ana nodded to the American.

"He's upset that he hurt you but I agree with you, Jack" she paused.

"He should never have done this".

Jack sighed and sipped Anas calming tea.
Moira was right when she said that Anas tea was the best.
Damn right.

He sipped until the small teacup was empty before signing.
"You sure you're okay?" She asked him, taking the saucer from his hands

"I'm fine" He said firmly before sniffling.

"No, I'm not fine" He said collapsing into the woman's arms.
"I- I don't know what to do, Ana" he sobbed as he heald to her.

"It's not your fault, Jack" Ana reassured him as his head brushed over her shoulders.

He was taller than she had thought.
all it took was a hug to realise how big he was.

"look at you" she pulled away from him and stroked his cheek.
"you're a kid, all upset over a stupid thing like this!" she pouted at him.

"Ana....i really liked him" Jack said, about to wipe a tear from his cheek but Ana had already swiped at it before he got the chance.

"you're a teen, these are supposed to be the best years of your life! get out there and meet new people!" she paused, thinking of how to say what she was about to.

"Reyes...you can't go after people like him. it's what they do.." she sighed.
"they want people to stay loyal to them as they go out and mingle with others...it's-"

"Horrible" a voice from behind cut her off.
she turned around to see that it was Gabe.

"Jack..I-" The Spaniard tried to speak to the other boy.
"I don't want to hear it, Gabriel" He sighed, knowing that in his heart he deperatly wanted to forgive him.
to forget all about this.

"I just want to talk...alone" He said as he shrugged at Ana.

"I understand, Jack, you can shout me if you need me" she smiled before walking away with her teacup and saucer.

"Can I come in?" Gabe tried to push past the door and get into the room but Jack stopped him.
"out here's fine" The American huffed.

"Out here? where people can hear us?" Gabe said, trying to be funny rather than angry, which he was normally.

Jack rolled his eyes and let him in before closing the doors behind him.

"I don't know what to say to you right now" Gabriel sighed sitting on the edge of the bed.

"then don't say anything" Morrison sighed.
"there's the door" he pointed with his index finger.

"You really want me to go?" Reyes large, Brown, puppy like eyes met with Jack's ocean blue ones.

"I....of cours- I don't know" Jack broke down once again.
"Jackie, i-"

"don't you dare call me that!" Jack growled as he faught back the tears which where too strong to contain.
"I'm sorry" Gabe showed true remorse.

"I hate seeing you cry." he looked at the American who had now positioned himself so he was sitting on the carpet with his back to the mahogany door.

"no, you don't" he burried his head into his hands.
"fuck" Reyes sighed.
He really had broken this boys heart and it pained him to see him like this.
He knew he shouldn't have told Jack.. .some things are better off unsaid and this was one of them.

Gabe let out a puff before moving himself onto the floor where Jack was.

"Come here" He offered a hug to Jack which was obviously immediately declined.

"Jack..please" He exhaled for a long period of time.
"I'll leave you alone forever....I'll never annoy you again as long as you give me this one hug" Gabriel promised.

"Okay" Jack nodded and slid himself over to Gabriel.
Everything Ana had just told him was thrown out the window completely at this point but Jack didn't care.

"I am so sorry for hurting you" Gabriel whispered as the smallest tear ever recorded slid from his eye.
"it'll never happen again" he said, squeezing the lighter boy.
"I...i won't talk to you again..that way I can't hurt you"
