Chapter 9: Possibilities are reckless

Leon

As I saw the boat , I knew that Aichi wouldn't forgive me for telling his friends his location, but the wind is telling me that this is the right motive , 

And I don't doubt the wind any more than I could have. 

The group lands in the docks, as I said, "It's great to see familiar faces again, and it seems like things would be interesting ." 

"Leon, I am grateful and relieved that you're letting us stay in your isle like this. It's well, beautiful." Min exclaimed as Kai looks straight at me, as if he knew I was lying and it seems like he was trying to connect the dots about Aichi's disappearance. 

Kai said, leaning in the hallway, "Leon, you know something about it, I'm not wrong. You act like Ren does. 

You just don't have to pretend." 

"Kai... I think you need to think this through. How would go , just to find Aichi?"

Kai remains silent as he went to his room.

I wonder what Leon meant. I hold Aichi's Royal Paladin deck in my hand, "Blaster Blade, why would you come to Min and me? 

You must been desperate of coming towards us for help, maybe it was something terrible that you don't have no one to turn to." I thought. 

"Kai?" I turn to see Min who was leaning into the doorway. She must've known I was thinking about Aichi.

"You worried about Aichi, aren't you? I don't blame ya. I'm worried too, and when I find him, I'm going to smack him in the face for disappearing on us ! 

And then challenge him to a Cardfight, just like old times. " 

I smiled, it's like she really happy of playing Vanguard. When I first met her, she was new to the world of Vanguard. 

Min said, looking at me, "Kamui and Miwa are fishing for food, Misaki and Leon are in a practice match, and I was wondering if you want to um, Cardfight with me. " 

I smiled, "How could I refuse my mate? You're on!" 

She smiles a bit, but something else was bothering her. "Ok, spill . You're not honest with me. Is it something to do with Psyqualia?"

She seems surprised that I have known about Psyqualia. "Wait, how did you know?" 

"Min, you been my best friend as long I can remember. I can tell that you can't hide a secret from me. Cough it up." 

She sighs as she said, "Ok, fine. I have the ability of using Psyqualia, it seems like unreal, Kai. Please don't tell the others about my gift, not yet anyway. 

I just have this feeling that by using Psyqualia might help of finding Aichi and possibly used in a Cardfight. " 

I sigh, knowing that I can't change Min's mind, even if I wanted to.

As I was about to ask her of who have gave her the same power as Aichi, Kamui said, "Hey, it's time for lunch!" 

Naoki  

As we were on our way to lunch, I still couldn't stop thinking about Aichi. It seems so weird that he disappeared without anyone knowing and having everyone closest to him , the memories are erased didn't make any sense to me at all. 

"Naoki, what's on you mind, still thinking about Aichi? I know we'll find him and maybe with the Quarte Knights ." Misaki said.

"Hey, you know, have you heard anything from Kourin lately?" I ask, wondering if she had heard from our friend.

"Come to think of it, I haven't heard from her ever since the Reversed Incident. " Misaki said, thinking out loud.

"She couldn't have her memories of Aichi erased too, don't you?" Miwa exclaimed, worried about her. 

"Well, there is a possibility, but I am not entirely sure." Kamui said. 

I turn to Misaki with a curious expression. "What is it, is it about Aichi's disappearance connected to Kourin?"

"Well, it's just a theory, Kourin is a Quatre Knight." 

I stand up, refusing to believe that Misaki would say such a thing about Kourin.

Miwa said, "Kourin wouldn't do that, I mean, she is a mate , our friend. She would definitely tell us something is wrong, especially if it is about Aichi." 

The room became silence, as Kai and Min came in with Leon and Kamui. 

"Hey, you guys! I thought we can do a Cardfight match... " Kai exclaimed , but he notices that we didn't reply back to him. 

"Is something the matter?" Min asks, with a curious tone. 

Miwa, Kamui and I exchanged looks wondering of who can tell them. 

Suddenly, Min feels something, like someone was calling to her. 

She runs away from us, as Kai yells, "Min!" 

Min

I run as fast I can. I felt someone familiar was calling to me, as I run, I felt my heart booming, as I pant with total sweat. 

In the mist, I saw an familiar friend, a mate. 

I couldn't believe my eyes as Kai, Kamui , Naoki catch up to me. 

I walked towards her as I said, in total disbelief of who I was standing in front of me. 

"Kourin." I said.
