Chapter 6: A battle with a Quatre Knight!

After Kamui regains his memories of Aichi, I became so worried about him, about why he disappeared, why did he do this?

Suddenly, a voice came up and sat next to me, "It's not like you to be worried, Min. I know that we'll find Aichi sooner than you think." 

I turn to see Kai who seems to be calmer than I was. 

"How you be so calm about this, Kai? Aichi is still out there somewhere, and I am completely worried about him. " 

"Min, you have to get faith in yourself. You can't always be sure of the future unfolds. Take a Vanguard match for example. 

During a turn, you don't know if you drew a critical trigger and have belief that you can win the match. 

Don't give in, Min. You taught Aichi that." He said as I was quite amazed of how he seem to be reasoning with the situation. 

"Woah, it seems that you changed, Kai. You never give advice before. " I exclaimed as Kai said, "Well, I have to thank Aichi for that once we find him and figure out what's going on. 

I'm going to head home for the day. I'll call you in case I have any leads."

I knew that is his way of want to be alone to think things through. It must been harder on him since he was the person who helped Aichi became the top Cardfighter in the Vanguard world after all. 

"Ok, Kai. I'll leave everything with you." I said as he walks away from in total silence.

As I walked, I instantly went to the one place that Aichi told me about his new unit in PSY shop, where we meet Kourin and her friends. Maybe I can find clues about their whereabouts.  

I thought about Aichi and Blaster Blade. Why would he appear to Min and me? 

Why I am the one to hold the Royal Paladin deck , even though I know it belongs to Aichi?

Suddenly out of nowhere, a person appears before me. 

"You must forget to ever find Aichi Sendou. " 

"You! You must be the person that Min fought against! I challenge you to a Cardfight!" 

I held out the Royal Paladin deck out as the person seems to be relaxed than he was, as if this very thing he had wanted in the first place. 

It reminds me of the anger I've felt, I remembered the way I reversed people to a Cardfight in order for me to maintain the power of Link Joker , until Aichi and I had the match that changed my personality forever, by being nice to everyone and reminding me that having mates isn't a bad thing as I thought it would be. 

"Hmm. You seem eager to fight me head on, Toshiki Kai. Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Oliver Gaillard." 

The name rang a bell. "Oliver Gaillard. If my memory is correct, you're the Europe League Champion of the Vanguard Circuit. Aside from that... you were one of the fighters who stopped the Invasion of Link Joker. 

Why you come here if you knew I was going to be here?"

Gaillard seems to be smiling that I remembered the invasion of the Reversed.

"Awe, I'm glad you remembered me. The reason I am here is because of Aichi." 

 I was in pure shock when Gaillard mentioned Aichi! How could he remember him if nobody except for me and my mates?
