Megatron's Son

Chapter Ten: The Race Is On!

Knockout's Profile:

   I ran down the corridors. I needed to get to the groundbridges. Ever since Megatron announced that Starscream was his son, everyone is trying to find him. Including me. We all want to get on Starscream's good side so he wouldn't get us punished for everything we have done to him. Which is a lot.

   Finally reaching the groundbridges I saw Breakdown waiting for me. Breakdown still had his doubts about the matter of Starscream being Megatron's son, but he wanted to find Starscream in case it was true. 

    " What took you so long?" Breakdown asked me once I was beside him.

    " A couple Vechions and Eradicons got hurt in the rush and I had to help them." I grumbled. We needed to get going NOW! We couldn't let anyone find Starscream before us.

    " Okay. Let's find Screamer shall we?" Breakdown opened the groundbridge then went through with me following. 

    I wonder what the Autobots could be doing to Starscream?

Starscream's Profile:

    After Arcee took me to the Rec Room with the others Bumblebee suggested us to play a game. Sadly this game was two truths and a lie, well for everyone else!!!

   It turns out I'm a master of the game, much to everyone's anger and frustration. 

  " Okay your turn Starscream." Arcee said looking ready for a challenge. 

  " I WILL get it this time." Bulkhead promised aloud with Bee agreeing with him. 

    Laying back on my comfortable chair I smiled, " One, my favorite color is silver, Two, I hate rain, Three, I have been in the Med Bay 437 times." 

    Groaning, the others tried to figure out which seemed false. None of them could identify any slip up or change when I said the three things. 

    " Three." Bulkhead said looking pleased with himself. " There is no WAY you could have been in a Med Bay 437 times." 

     Arcee and Bee agreed with him while Optimus continued to think. Then he looked over at me. 

 " Well I think Three may be true due to your track record of you turning up in Med Bays. Two might be the lie...I think....I choose One." Optimus then said. 

 Smiling I told them the answer. "One." 

 " WHAT?!?" 

  " My favorite color is actually blue. Like the sky."

 Grumbling was then heard as the three tried to figure out how to beat me.

   " How did you know Optimus?" I then asked curious.

   " Seekers love the sky and I know their wings are sensitive. So rain might not be too pleasant for you. So I went with the choice I had left." Optimus said with a smile.

   " OPTIMUS! WE FOUND A DECEPTICON MINE!!!" Ratchet's voice broke us from our game. 

   " Do you think you will be good with Ratchet?" Optimus asked me softly.

    " Yeah. You go ahead and get the energon." As much as I hate the Autobots raiding our mines, I knew that this was also the only way for me to get energon. The energon reserves here were getting low and made it necessary for me to just roll with this. Weather I liked it or not.

    " Alright. Autobots." With a few nods Optimus's Team ran for their groundbridge. Ready for a fight. I just hoped this wasn't the mine Soundwave would be visiting....

Soundwave's Profile:

     The mine inspection was going well until the Autobots showed up. Sire was going to be mad at me.... Because he told me I wasn't allowed to leave the Nemesis until he was sure it was safe for me. Thous him being super overprotective of me like always. Now thinking about it maybe sneaking out to the mines wasn't such a good idea after all....

     " Soundwave." Prime's voice came from behind me.

    Jumping around, I saw Prime with a pair of cuffs. Oh no, I was going to get captured too! Which leaves me with two options that I had to choice quick. Either A, comm Sire and let him deal with it and I only suffer being grounded or B, go quietly and maybe see my brother again. 

     " No..." I whispered out. Not loud enough for Prime to hear but loud enough for me to have said it. 

      As much as I loved my brother, being captured didn't seem like a good choice...now if only Sire could get here before I get captured...

Megatron's Profile: 

      " SIRE!!!" Soundwave's desperate voice came over our Creation Bond. (Bond between creators and creation) 

      " What is it Soundwave?" I asked quickly.

      " AUTOBOTS IN THE MINES!!! OPTIMUS IS TRYING TO CAPTURE ME!!!" Soundwave sounded really upset. 

       " I told you stay out of the mines!" I scolded rushing through the nearest groundbridge to the mines. 

        That's where I was greeted to the sight of Optimus, cuffs in hand, backing my youngest son into a wall. Gasping, I ran forward, sword out and ready to strike. I already lost one son I don't need to lose my only other son too! 

         Optimus must have heard me because he then turned and fired at me. I dodged all the shots easily. Once Optimus was distracted, Soundwave opened a ground bridge beneath him. After disappearing into it I got a message through our bond that Soundwave was on the Nemesis. 

         " WHERE IS HE? WHERE IS MY SON? WHERE IS STARSCREAM?!?!" I screamed at him. I think I officially destroyed both of our audio sensors......

           " Optimus!" Arcee called firing a shot that landed close to my optic. Wincing in pain and covering the one optic I watched in fury as the Autobots left with at least 1/2 of this mine's energon. They would have enough energon to for a year!

           Now to get back to the Nemesis to talk to that son of mine.

Soundwave's Profile:

            I was hiding. I knew how much trouble I would be in if I were found and I was scared. I already had closed off our bond and my comm so Megatron couldn't talk to me. Laserbeak gave me a few chirps of comfort. I released him from my armor and hugged my bird. Not letting go of him, I moved back further into the darkness and cuddled myself and Laserbeak. 

             Why has life gone so wrong?
