Your POV
I watched as Mark pulled away from Jack, examining his face. At first they didn't say anything and Jack only glanced at me, giving a brief smile my way before he looked at Mark again.
"Are you ok?" he asked him and Mark looked at him sideways.
"Me? Have you seen yourself?" he responded.
"I'll be fine"
"What the hell happened to you?" Mark asked.
"I think you know, which is why we need to get out of here now" he replied.
"Hold on hold on, First of all, why are you not healing?"
"I am, it's just taking time" he said, "no more questions for now, we have to get her out of here"
he added, gesturing towards me. Briefly, he looked to me and greeted,
"Hi y/n" I responded to him but was at a loss for words. The first time meeting Jack and it's like this.
"Wait, how do you know my name?" I asked then he smiled slightly wickedly.
"Mark doesn't shut up about you" he said making Mark a bit sheepish."Come on, can you stand?" Jack asked and I nodded.
"Alright, do you think you can grab some of your clothes? Not much, just a few things"
"Yeah, I can do that" I replied. He nodded then pulled Mark aside to talk to him. I got up and made my way to my room upstairs and stuffed a few pieces of clothes in a backpack I had.Mark POV
Y/n went up to her room, I was slightly worried about her, if she would have the strength to climb those stairs, but turns out, she's pretty strong.
Sèan pulled me to a corner and began to speak softly.
"Ok, what's really going on here? Clearly Dark and Anti were here, there was a fight, but you don't look battered as you would've been if you went against them both. What happened here?"
He's too smart for his own good sometimes.
"She's like us" was all I said. He was a bit taken aback.
"So, she has a demon tied to her too?" he asked.
"Not exactly. It's like it's part of her, not like how you and me have Dark and Anti. She's the one who fought against them, but she didn't seem like herself" I tried to explain but the whole ordeal didn't make sense to me either. My brain was still processing everything.
He stopped, as if trying to understand, his gaze going over the scene that was left in her apartment.
"Pretty bad mess here, she took on both of them?" he asked, looking at me.
"Yeah, but I don't think she could've controlled it, it was more of acting on instinct" I answered. He hummed, I could almost see the gears turning in his head, trying to piece everything to make some sort of sense. He was about to speak again but didn't when he saw her come down the stairs again with a backpack in hand.
"Anything else you want to grab, I don't think you'll see this place for a long while" he told her. She looked around then down to where her recording room was.
"My recording stuff..." she said.
"It has to stay, I'll see if I can get someone to come take it to keep it safe" he said, she thought for a moment then agreed. He went towards her and took the backpack from her hand.
"Let's go" he said and began to walk out again.
"Where are we going?" she asked, she was always cautious about everything, make sense she would want to know before she went anywhere, even if it's with someone she could trust.
Jack turned back to her, giving a sympathetic look.
"Somewhere safe and far away from here. We can't waste any time, we have to go. I know this is a lot all of a sudden but you have to trust me. Ok?" she looked at him and nodded.
"Good, let's go. Mark, grab your girlfriend, that car isn't gonna wait forever" he said walking out the door. But I caught the mischievous smirk on his face.
"She's not my girlfriend!" I whined although I really do wish it was true. He only chuckled as I took her hand walking down the hall. She didn't say anything, but I think I caught the sight of blush on her cheeks."Sèan, you know I have a car right?" I asked, wondering why is he so concerned about the car waiting outside.
"Are you serious Mark? Did Dark take a piece of your brain when he escaped?" he asked, looking at me as if I had the IQ of a rock. He sighed as we reached the car and he opened the door.
"Just get in" he instructed and I did, I mean, I wanted the window anyways. He got in after me, giving y/n the next window. Which made me rethink my decision of wanting the end. He dropped the backpack on my lap and told the driver to head back to the airport. The dude looked so confused but he didn't ask anything as he probably realized Sèan was a bit on edge.
As the car moved, Sèan just slumped down in his seat. I looked over at her, I could see she was shaken up with everything happening so fast. I nudged his side and gestured to her just staring out the window.
