It was sunny out the wind was lightly blowing and I could hear all the bugs and the small animals running through the grass from where I layed on a flat gray rock with white spots, I looked around to see where Alvis was, she was sitting on a rock her eyes were closed and her fur was blowing in the wind, I closed my eyes and started to think about what my next task would be and why we were at the great mountain.
"RAFE" Alvis shouted at me to get my attention, I quckly looked over to her "yes" I replied wondering what she wanted me for. She started to look up towards the top of the mountain, "Rafe you shall climb to the top of the great Kaiulahi Mountain and drink the water from the Kaiulahi fountain for within the great cave" she said with a soft tone and her eyes closed, "so I'm suspose to climb this giant mountain that has no stairs and looks like theres no easy way up and I'm only like a little 11 year old thats fragile" I said while starting to cry, "good leaders don't cry or give up on the first sight of a impossible task... They find a way around it.. So you can either cry here and not use your full strength and give up or you can get up and climb the mountain" Alvis said with a stern voice then she quickly ran off.
I wasn't going to give in to my fears of not being good enough so I got up and started to climb the mountain, I looked up to see the top of the mountain but there were clouds before the top and not that far up it looked liked it would start to get cold so I threw the coat Alvis left for me over my shoulder and climbed probably the easiest part of the mountain.
Im about 200 something feet off the ground now and its probably already been 6 hours and I needed to get some sleep, so I found a safe ledge and wraped my coat around me so I stayed warm, I started to lick all the cuts I got from climbing the rocky surface of the mountain, how was I suspose to climb this mountain, I just layed in the darknest of the night thinking about how I'll probably end up dying trying to climb this mountain and cryed myself to sleeping.
