Learning to climb to new hights final part

Rafe was almost at the top of Kaiulahi Mountain, it was a very dangerous climb for him after days of climbing had gone through much pain, but after his experience with the statues there's was a lot more he needed to ask Alvis what more to the protectors are there, what exactly were the purpose of the statues, he pushed all his questions to the back of his mind since he still had to Mountain to climb and he didn't need any distractions he dug his hands and feet into the cold dirt and sharp rocks, Rafe didn't have shoes or boots to wear so he had to climb the mountain in bare feet.
  
   he finally reached the top of the mountain he lay down on his back due to the tiredness of the limb and the lack of air, he watched his breath in the cold bitter air as he tried to calm his breathing with each breath he sat up and wiped his sore and dirty hands on the little clothes he had and looked around to try to see what Alvis sent him up Kaiulahui, he saw a very old fountain "must be the fountain Alvis was talking about" Rafe said to himself quietly. He stood up and walked over to the old stone fountain there was a metal bowl connected to a robe to get the water from inside the fountain, without a second thought he lowered the bowl down into the dark fountion and pulled it back up, to water was crystal clear he could see a clear image of himself in it, he looked at all  the features of his face his long white hair from years of stress from being separated from his parents and raised by wolves his dirt covered face from the many days of climbing and his baby blue eyes shining in the moonlight, he drank from the bowl slowly, he fell to the ground spilling the remainder of the water around him, Rafe fell into a deep slumber from days of lack of sleep and lack of water.

   Rafe opened his eye's for a second to see an older man with a long thick beard and coat made of goat fur on him, then he fell asleep again.
