"We're leaving?!" Blood yelled, making Gwen wince.

"B but, where? This is home!" Candy stuttered, Gwen could picture imaginary tears, maybe gumdrops, falling out of the bunny toy.

"Meh, I'm fine with it. The blood was starting to annoy me." Giggles meowed lazily. Blood let out an offended gasp.

Gwen giggled, making Dad tilt his head.

"What's so funny?" He asked.

"Nothing. Just a thought." She said, making him shrug. "When're we leaving?"

"At the end of the day, so pack up." He said, turning.

"Okey doke." Gwen said, doing a salute, giggled, then headed for her tent. Blood and Giggles started arguing again, Candy taking Blood's side.

Maybe the bunny did have a crush on him after all.

"I'm just saying, the stench is horrendous." Giggles said.

"Just how? I mean, I smell like it all the time!" Blood retorted. Candy letting out a murmur of agreement.

"That is it! Why do you have to agree with everything he says, Candy?!" Giggles hissed. "Always, every time! Why not take my side? We're best friends!"

Was that why she was so annoyed?

"W well. Um. I'm looking at the reason in what he's saying. He does smell like blood, you know..." Candy said quietly, Gwen could feel the guilt in her being.

She shook her head to focus on what to bring. The voices faint now.

Her favorite mint-colored pillow, or her apple red, laced pillow? Decisions decisions. She decided to take out a chocolate coin and flip it. Heads, mint, tails, apple.

"W why not both, miss Gwen?" Zoe's shy voice suggested, the pale brown locks appearing beside her bed.

"Well, that's certainly better, dear." Gwen agreed. "The other might take it as an insult when I leave one behind." She took both and stuffed them in her bag. Zoe formed a small smile.

She winced when Giggles shrieked at Candy.

'Knock it off, you two!' She hissed, relieved when they instantly shut up. She patted the girl's head, and sat.

Suddenly, she fully realized that they would be leaving in an hour. She stood, running a hand on the cloth of the tent and peering out of the rips, the children she knew she'd miss. She was already feeling homesick before she even left!

She sighed, putting her head in her hands, no longer satisfied with the silence.

'Hey, are you behaving better?' She said, a huff of suppressed anger as a reply.

"No, why do I seem like the bad guy whenever all of us argue? It's not fair!" Giggles snapped.

'Well, then try think better, maybe then I won't get headaches.' Gwen said, the argue going on and more quietly this time.

Before she knew it, 55 minutes passed and Dad was clearing his throat impatiently.

"Oh, sorry. I didn't realize the time." Gwen said, standing quickly.

"Didja pack?" He asked, then looked at the bag and nodded approvingly. He smiled, ruffling her hair and took out a caramel. Her favorite.

She smiled. The next day wouldn't be so bad, in their new home. Right?
