Forks and Knives

Tilly's POV:

We start walking towards the restaurant and Jungkook opens the door for me I mean Kookie opens the door for me, such a gentlemen I thought – I was trying my best not to blush. Life in Korea just keeps getting better and better, Thank you God! We are walked to a table in the far corner where no one was around by the waitress, it was quiet and the tiniest bit awkward between us. I skimmed over the menu and kept on looking up at Kookie, until we met eye contact. 

He smiles at me and says "What are you staring at Tilly? I see you staring"

I suddenly go red and look down, he comes closer to me and pulls my chin up. I feel his breath on my face, the moment was interrupted when the waiter came to take our order. We order our food and just wait in our seats in silence, we occasionally meet eyes. The food was so expensive though, I feel guilty since Jungkook was paying for it. I rummage through my bag and grab my purse and hand him 60,000 Won,

"What's this?" He asks

"I feel guilty since you're paying and plus it's really expensive. Please take it" I say handing it to him.

"Yeah nah I'm not talking it, consider this my treat for you coming to Korea" He says with the warmest smile on his face.

"Please Jungkook" I say begging him.

"I insist Tilly" He says handing me back the money.

My phone lights up in my bag and I read the text message, turns out it's from mom –

Mom- Be home before 8:00pm

Mom- We NEED to talk

At that point many things go through my mind, was I in trouble? Am I gonna get grounded.

Jungkook's POV:

I watch Tilly as she nervously looks at her phone the light of the screen makes her face glow up, I now see how much prettier she really is. It's not like every day you have foreigners moving in as your neighbours, especially pretty 17 year old girls going to the same high school as you. The waiter comes with our food and places them gently on the table I can see Tilly almost drooling while staring at the food, As we start to eat our food I look around the restaurant hoping no fan girls come and ruin this moment – I really should've worn my face mask today. Tilly seems a little more relaxed now then she did before and looks as if she is enjoying her food. I grab my phone and go on my snapchat camera and attempt to film her, unfortunately she realises and stars acting all shy

"Jeon Jeong-Guk! Don't film me!" Tilly says as her face turns away from mine.

I place my phone on the table and start to ask some more questions.

"Tilly, now that we are friends, Can we can get to know each other more? So what are your hobbies? And yeah tell me more about you "I say hoping she'll answer, I cross my fingers mentally.

"You really want to know? My life isn't that interesting ya know" She asks

"Of course I want to know, No one has an interesting life" I say

"Well my actual name isn't Tilly its Matilda. I like dancing and singing and I'm good at gymnastics and I've been a straight A's student since reception. I know I'm weird don't judge". Tilly says giggling

Matilda wow what a nice name I thought also she likes singing and dancing? This can't get any better.

"Wow Tilly! Your even cooler now that I now this stuff about you, so let me return the favour and tell you a bit about me!" I say to her

"Sure thing Jungkook"

"So I grew up in Busan, I have a brother, I've been singing and dancing since I could remember. I've known my roommates for almost 6 years now, I really consider them as family now and I love videogames- 'especially Overwatch"

"See! You have an interesting life!!! I don't have a friend I've known for more than 4 years"

"Ah don't worry we will break that record one day" I say to her smiling.

I call the waiter and ask for the cheque, he soon arrives with it and Tilly and I fight over who gets to pay in the end I won-even though we already established that I was paying. Before the waiter left I asked if he could take a picture of Tilly and me, I sit next to Tilly with my hand around her shoulder. I hoped she wouldn't feel uncomfortable, I look over to her and she is doing the peace sign and smiling- not even worrying about me being so close to her. I thought to myself I'll put this as my iPhone background afterwards.

Tilly's POV:

We start to walk to the car and Kookie places his hand around my neck and we walk together. I feel his body heat against mine as my heart beats faster and faster. Kookie opens the car door for me and I get inside the car, we drive to the apartment and we walked up the stairs together. We soon split paths when we arrived to our apartments, Kookie did a Korean love heart and that's when we went inside.
I entered the apartment and my mum was sitting at the table with a concerned look on her face.

"Now Tilly, where have you been? You were supposed to come home after school" my mum says.

"Mom, w-well you see our new neighbours well they drove me to school and then he took me to a cafe" I say while panicking inside.
*clears throat "Who's he? I mean well that doesn't matter just next time you do something like that tell me. Ok? And I have some news" Mom says

"What news?" I seem concerned

"You know how dad has been busy and so have I? Well we both have to go on a business trip for work. I'm going to Thailand and dads going to China." Mom says

"What about me?!" I say quickly

"Don't worry you'll be fine, we've organised for a babysitter to come take care of you" mom says with an evil grin on her face.

"Mom I'm 17! A babysitter isn't necessary, I'll be fine on my own" I mutter

"We are leaving, well tomorrow late in the afternoon at around 6ish so the babysitter will be coming then" Mom says and exits the living room at lightning speed.

I rush to my room and throw myself onto the bed.
