I can't believe mum.

I can't believe her.

This is the woman who never washes my clothes. She leaves all my washing to me. I made sure of that. To never get her involved with my laundry and mix our things up (we're the same size) and now in my time of need she goes and 'helps me out.'

I stared at the washing machine in horror.

There!

A tiny flicker of a neon pink stripe flashed at me through the swirling glass window. My gym kit. My sports leggings and top, Lycra and thermal, soft yet warm.

Washing. Typical. I wanted to shout at them.

"You selfish motherf*ckers." I whispered darkly head bowed.

"Language!" mum tsked whisking into the room. "Go and ask Brianna for hers." she said like it was no big deal.

Ask Brianna. Ask Brianna.

"Yes ask Brianna honestly what's gotten into you. Go, now!"

Oops must've said that out loud. Sighing I climbed the stairs quickly wanting to get this done and over with. It wasn't like she'd say yes anyway.

Pushing my bedroom door open I stood there  "Brianna can I um borrow your gym kit. Uh please." I forced.

"She was grinning at her phone and waved a hand nonchalantly.

"Sure."

I stood there stumped. What had just happened. I stared at her. She looked back up at me and as if forgetting herself added,

"Bitch." but it was half hearted.

"There's the Brianna I know and hate." I grinned uncertainly, she laughed.

"Bottom shelf in my wardrobe."

Shaking my head I forced myself to cross the room to her side.

"Hey." I muttered opening the door avoiding eye contact, "I'll just be a minute."

Willis' widened dramatically and he added in a few staggered steps backwards for effect.

"Wow, Riley you look hot." He said face serious.

I scowled at him. He stepped into the house uninvited revealing that there was someone behind him.

"Hello darlin' the names Jed." Jed grinned. He was very good looking. He picked my hand and brought it to his lips. I raised an eyebrow trying not to show the small tingles that ran down my spine.

Willis' pov.

He's looking at her. I fucking warned him. He's looking at her.  F*ck. She's blushing.

Riley's pov

Willis had stormed into the living room and Jed glanced at me worriedly before following. I shrugged and went to fill up my bottle with cold water from the tap. Freezing cold. I HATE luke-warm water.

There was a huge thud, and I ran back into the living room my eyes widening and my water bottle thunked onto the floor.

Willis had Jed pinned up against the wall with his forearm to his throat. He looked mightily angry, Jed as well as struggling to breathe he was just, well he was smirking. Willis would not like that I gulped. Upon seeing the smug smirk Willis growled and pressed his arm harder into his throat. Oh why the hell did I get myself involved with a guy who has raging anger issues. I timidly crossed the room and reached out my shaking hand. Willis was muttering darkly.
