My eyes follow her everywhere now. I wonder why I never noticed her before. She had bumped onto me two days ago and she’s been all I’ve been thinking about. I tried talking to her again but she’s been avoiding me.

Okay, okay, I give up. I will go out with you, I said one day when I finally cornered her alone by her locker.

What?  She spared me a quick glance before resuming in taking out her stuff from her locker. Oh. It’s just you.

Ouch. I gripped my chest dramatically. She rolled her eyes as she slammed close her locker.

What do you want? She asked like she was in a hurry.

The question is : what do YOU want?  I wagged my eyebrows at her.

She scoffed at that and I grinned, okay, she said, I’ll humor you on this one. What do you think I want?

I gave her one of my most winning smiles, Obviously a date. With me.
