The air had begun to grow cold as we walked deeper into the school. Eren had woken me up, yelling that something was wasn't right. My leg had been trapped underneath a piece of wood that must have fallen down from the ceiling. The ceiling was not supported properly, so I wasn't surprised that it weakened. Eren helped me out of it, and we have been walking ever since. We've been searching for signs that the rest of our group is here.

"This place could use a good cleaning." Eren let out a small chuckle. I could tell he was trying to lighten up the mood, but this was not a laughing situation. Even if the comment was true, dust had settled on everything. Eren let out a long sigh, and returned back to focusing on the task. My eyes ran over the walls, lockers and floor. I was hoping to spot something, anything that would tell us where the hell the others were.

"This is a shitty situation." I let out a dark chuckle and glided my finger over some blood on the walls. It was dry, must have happened years ago. Flies were swarming around it, and the stench made me nauseous. I began to panic, then looked down at my left hand. I stretched it out, wanting to feel her badge in my hand.

"Where do you think we are?" Eren asked as we kept moving forward. I sighed, this was the fifth times he's asked me. I tried to explain to him that we are in the game, but he acted as if I was joking around with him. He had slowed down a bit, allowing me to catch up with him. I grabbed for his shoulder, forcing him to face me.

"Eren, I've told you countless times where we are. When are you going to believe me?" I grew concerned. I didn't want Eren to go crazy, his mind would shut down after a while. If he didn't believe me , he would eventually go insane with fear.

"Stop telling me that we're in a game, it's crazy! Let's just go, I won't ask you anymore." He tore his shoulder from my grip, and continued to walk.

After another twenty minutes of walking in silence, we had found nothing. No sign of anyone being here, and that make me begin to worry. Could they already be dead? We were walking by some classrooms, when I noticed that we passed a dark closet. Maybe something useful was in there. I walked backwards until I stood in front of the door, the sign said Janitors Closet. I could hear Eren's footsteps stop, and then heading towards me.

"Maybe we could use something from in here?" I asked. Eren shook his head, letting out a scoff.

"What useful thing could possibly be in a janitors closet? Some old soapy water? A toilet brush?" Eren was beginning to grow irritated, that was obvious. This place was already getting to him. I stood there staring at him until he rolled his eyes. He gestured me to go in and take a look, so I did. It was hard to see what was in there, but it was clear that half a body laid on the ground. Guts were spilling out, making the smell almost unbearable. Eren cursed and I could hear his retreating footsteps.

"That's a hell of a sight to see." I stepped over the body, trying not to get blood on my new shoes. My hands felt around the wall, hoping to grab onto something useful. As I stepped to the left, my foot had knocked something over, it sounded like wood. I bent down and slid my hands on the floor, trying to find the object. Then I felt wood touch my hand, and I grabbed onto it. Light filled into the closet as Eren shined a flashlight in.

"I found it on the floor over there. We're lucky it still has some juice left in it." Eren explained as he took a step forward. I looked down and saw what I had found.

        A broom.

"How ironic." Eren mumbled as he eyed the broom. The familiar feeling of a cleaning utensil in my hand calmed my nerves. I don't know if this would be any use to us, but I'll keep it handy. I got up and once again stepped over the body, and paid my respects to whoever this poor soul was.
