Anakin POV

I hadn't been looking forward to telling Bail about our discoveries, but it was necessary. He needed to remain informed and if I were in his position I know that I would want to know everything that was going on. I kept imagining what it would be like if someone had taken Ahsoka from me and I didn't know who it was or why they had done it. It made me feel terrible, so I knew that Senator Organa must be feeling the same way.

Bail seemed a little relieved when we let him know that we'd found something, but that quickly disappeared when we told him about the blood and the finger prints. He managed to keep himself composed, but I could see he was distressed and rightly so. Thankfully, Obi Wan did most of the talking as I didn't feel comfortable with the situation. I just wanted to find the Queen as quickly as possible so that she was safe and her husband no longer needed to worry.

After telling Senator Organa about what we had found our next move was to contact the Council and report our findings to them. They would assist us by getting help at the temple to find our suspect's last known location. Once we knew that we were one more step closer to solving all of this.

However it seemed someone had to go and put a hydrospanner in the works.

"We have received a message from T'doshok, he knows we are helping the Senator." The holographic Mace Windu looked none too pleased as he shared this information with us. "Here is his message." He said and showed us the holo recorded message.

'Greetings Jedi Council.' The reptilian humanoid smiled smugly. 'By now I know that you are aware of who I am and what I have. I also know that right now two of your Jedi knights are on Alderaan, snooping in other people's business. Make them leave the planet or the precious Queen will be made to suffer. I will give them a maximum of twenty four hours to leave, should they choose not to, then both them and the queen will die. Time is ticking Jedi.' He hissed and the recording finished.

I was surprised to hear that the bounty hunter knew of our involvement so quickly, it didn't make sense, how could he know? "Either this is an inside job, or he's got men stationed nearby." I theorised.

"Either way, he doesn't want us involved in this. As you heard, he has ordered that you leave Alderaan and stay out of these affairs or he will harm the queen."

We all knew that not helping wasn't an option, but if we continued looking into things here we were putting her Majesty in more danger. "So what do we do?" It was a tough choice.

"Twenty four hours to leave Alderaan, he gave you, remember?" Yoda said, making us turn our attention to him. "Use this time you will, yes, and find out more about the Queen's location in that time, you must."

"Yes, Master Yoda." Obi Wan nodded. "In order to do that we will need to know where T'doshok is, because it's more likely that he's keeping her somewhere close by."

"We will find out what we can from here, but keep looking for evidence."

"Of course." I replied. As if we would just wait around to hear from them, we were more proactive than that. "In the meantime we will find out just how T'doshok discovered we arrived here."

"Very well, we will contact you when we discover this bounty hunter's location." Master Mundi said. "May the Force be with you in your search."

"Thank you masters." Obi Wan said and the two of our bowed along with our padawans before the transmission ended.

"Looks like we've got our work cut out for us." I said, turning to my old master.

"Yes well, at least it will keep things interesting, won't it?" He smirked.

"Ok, if we're going to actually catch this informant then shouldn't we start actually looking for them?" Alexa asked, her impatience apparently getting the better of her.

"Yes, and where would you suggest we start looking?"

"I thought that maybe you had a plan?"

"Oh I see, as usual I'm the one who has to save the day with a brilliant plan."

"Remind me, when has that happened before?"  My master quipped.  I rolled my eyes and shot Obi Wan a look as he smirked triumphantly at me, while Alexa laughed and Rendal hid his mouth behind his hand.

"Whatever."  I muttered.  "Let's just start looking."

Alexa POV

Watched the recording of that slime ball made me feel sick and spurred me on to find him just so that I could have the pleasure of punching that smug smile right off his scaly mug.

Still, I couldn't help giggling to myself again as we went to start looking for this spy, still thinking about the burn Kenobi had just given Anakin. He had really left himself open to that one and I almost applauded the older man for taking the opportunity to make a joke out of it. For someone as polite and dignified as Master Kenobi he definitely knew how to use sass when he felt like it. I had to admire him for that.

I winked over at Rendal, who was grinning too. He'd done well not to laugh, but I could see he was struggling, even now that the moment was over. I knew once we were alone we would both have a good laugh about it.

Which was precisely what we did.
