I looked down and bit my lip.

"I'd like to think that you turned out to be the clingy one when we grew up."

He poked my side.

"As if you didn't like it."

I slapped his hand away.

"Course not."

There's a tone of amusement in his voice when he spoke.

"You're blushing."

I glanced at him and scowled. There's a smug look on his face.

"I hate you."

He didn't respond.

But there's a hint of smile etched on our faces as we walk.

Because we both know otherwise.
