Is this girl physic or what? How would she know I have a twin? We just met!

"Um, y-yeah, I dd-do, why?" stuttering because I was still out of breath and light headed.

"I do as well. Let's just say you can trust me. My name is Kiara, and I've also been through the power stages, which your starting to show signs of."

I ignored most of what Kiara was saying, and had a chance to actually look at her. She had tan skin, brown hair and brown eyes. She was smaller than me by an inch or two, and was out of school uniform, which means she's older than me or just broke the rules.

"Power stages?" I questioned.

"Yea. The purple gunk and the red eyes. You hit stage 1. Now that's assuming your birthday is in two weeks or less."

"Um, how did you know that?" I questioned, again. This day is literally getting so weird, and I thought purple puke was weird.

"Kid, listen, this has happened to me before, I know what's going on. Now tell me the last time you saw your twin. Did you see him or her this morning?" Her voice turned from he sweet honey to a salty taffy. Hard and sticky, while pungent. She needed a breath mint asap.

I didn't have the courage to tell her about Evelyn. Or what happened either. I still didn't trust her completely.

"Ah, no, I didn't. Sorry. I kind of rushed out of the house." I made up some lame excuse, hoping she'd buy it.

"You're a terrible lied. One of the worst I've ever seen." Kiara told me bluntly. Dang. She caught my bluff. "Now tell me, where is your twin?" She said with a little more force, losing the gentleness in her voice.

"Um, I-ah, I don't know." Don't answer the question Elle.
"Tell me the truth, Elle." Don't do it- wait.

"How do you know my name? And why should I tell you anything?" I said as I slowly backed away from a potential stocker. I am not going to let this mysterious woman actually try and read my mi-

"Never mind, already know. I'm sorry Elle." Did she just seriously do what I did not want her to do? Her tone keeps changing very quickly. Her voice now was filled with sorrow and remorse, which threw me off track more than I was.

"What? Already know what?" I stared at her with a confused face.

"I saw into your mind. It's one of my abilities that I have. I'll retouch on that later; but I was just playing dumb with ya, Elle. I already know who you are and exactly where Evelyn is as well."

When Kiara said Evelyn's name, that's the first time I've heard it out loud in years. I suddenly became really angry. Which confused me even more, because I wasn't controlling that anger. The suddenly the world went black.

Kill. Kill her and all will be fine. We'll live happily Elle, just you and I!

Who, who are you? Wait, where am I?

In your mind Elle, welcome.

You still haven't answered my question! Who the hell are you ? What is happening to me?

All I can say is, you're a very special girl. Talk soon!

Wait, no don't go! Kill who?

HER. KILL KIARA.

But I don't want to! Why?

SHE IS THE ENEMY. SHE WILL DESTROY US.
——-
I woke up on the bathroom floor, and sat up with a jerk. I looked around and saw blood all over the stalls, and all over myself; looking like I went swimming in it. What the hell happened? I got up slowly to assess the damage, and saw Kiara, out cold on the ground. Blood was coming from her abdomen, in small doses. I put two and two together. I just attacked and killed Kiara.

"Freeze!! Hands in the air where I can see them!" I turned around slowly, and saw men in not police uniforms, but grey tracksuits, with syringes lined up against their chests, and a gun each pointed at me.

"It's time to come home, Elle."
