seokjin tsked at jeongguk whilst patting concealer over the marks on his face.

"what will it take for you to leave this company, gguk? you know that you'd have others fighting to sign you." he mumbled, looking at the younger with sad eyes.

"you know i can't leave, hyung. not just my contract, but everybody else is here. i'm staying."

"but-"

"non buts jin-hyung. it's just one manager. i still have manager pd-nim. i'll be okay."

jeongguk smiled up at seokjin as the older finished covering up the purple bruise on his jawline.

"fine, but if he ever crosses a line, you know where to find me jeongguk-ssi."

the ravenette nodded and embraced the other for a couple of seconds before pulling back.

"thanks for being here, hyung." he smiled. seokjin returned the gesture before patting him on the head and leaving the room.

jeongguk flopped onto his bed. he should really be recording in extra tracks but his mind kept thinking back to a certain brunette-model.

why am i thinking of him?

sadly for jeongguk, the more he tried not to think of taehyung, the more he thought of him.

his cute boxy smile, his deep voice, his slim feminine body, his twinkling eyes, his melodies laugh—

yeah. jungkook might just be a tad whipped.

he pulled out his phone and started randomly scrolling through his account.

the further he got through the photos (hell, one from the start of 2017) the more he noticed how much more fragile he looked.

maybe not fragile... but small-framed.

taehyung had always been a bit curvy and girlish in some of his features, but he had a lot more muscle on him in 2016 than 2017.

jeongguk furrowed his eyebrows in confusion, a small pout beginning to form on his lips, wondering if the baby brunette was eating okay, was looking after himself, if the company knew...

...and then if the company caused this.
