The man screams out in agony, gazing at the ceiling as tears and sweat drip from his face. He begins talking, stammering at first. "What. . .what do you
wanna know?"
Scarlet smiles. "That's more like it, deary. We'll start with you. What's your name?"
"Collins."
She takes the knife out of Collins's knee and sits on his lap. "Nice to meet you, Collins. I'm Scarlet." She raises the blade up to his neck and leans in a bit closer.
"Next question. What does Ellie want with the scythe."
He hesitates to answer. "I don't know. She said she needs it to be protected."
"Hmm. . ." She makes a small cut on the side of his neck as he cries in pain, stands up and walks behind him. "You're lying." She positions the knife to the base of his skull. "Now tell me the truth and I won't kill you. . .slowly."
"She said the scythe; it's some sort of key and if it ends up in the hands of you jackasses—" Scarlet steps in front of him and lands a punch across his nose. He spits out blood. "If you guys get your hands on it, it means bad news. I'm just the courier. So there, you know everything."
"Not everything, sweetheart. What's Ellie planning to do?"
"Mind control and brain washing, mostly. She wants to take over the world. Literally. She's got the strength to do it."
Scarlet thinks about Destiny and the time Destiny single handedly hacked the control of an entire corporate office building ran by Ellie to get further intel on Ellie's plan. "But we've got strength and brains." She turns on her comm and about faces. "O-See?"
The Overseer's voice comes in. "Copy. Heard everything I needed to hear. Do what you wish with him. Either you're gonna kill him or another one of Ellie's henchmen will, for spilling the beans. After that, pack your bag. I'll book you the next flight to Maine which is. . .in about 16 hours. Get some rest as soon as you can." The comm disconnects.
Scarlet goes to fully seal the doors and windows then frees Collins from his chair. She then kicks it from underneath him and he crumbles to the ground, slowly crawling away. She cracks her neck and knuckles and lets out a sadistic laugh. "Ohhh, I'm gonna enjoy this."
present time
Tannis's grip on Destiny's arm and throat tighten and Destiny groans in pain as Tannis laughs in an evil fashion. "Oh I love it when my food gets all scared inside."
Destiny smiles and manages to choke out, "You think it's fear you smell? Try your breath." Tannis smacks Destiny across the face, pulls her from the wall and smashes her back into it again. "Don't get mad, get glad." Tannis hurls Destiny across the room into the wooden desk, shattering it on impact. With blood running from her face, Destiny shoots the doctor a small wink as she stands up and raises her arms up. "Come and get me." Destiny's eyes and amulet flare blue. "Pumpkin."
Without hesitation, Tannis charges like a bull to a red flag. Destiny easily side steps then tackles Tannis from the side. She then beat on Tannis. She lands very few but very precise and powerful strikes, breaking about every bone in her face. Destiny raises her left arm one last time, revealing the hidden blade and plunges it right into Tannis's gut. Tannis let out an ear-piercing scream that seemed to unphase Destiny; she still bared the look of a ruthless, brutal, stone cold, merciless killer. Tannis's skin got even paler and seemed to sizzle at the touch of the blade. When she seemed to be settled in the arms of death, Destiny could clearly see Tannis's skeletal formation through the skin. The light dies down in her eyes and amulet.
Satisfied, Destiny grabs Tannis by the hair and drags the corpse through the halls. Demons left and right stare at her with hate and a hint of fear. The patients all gasp at what they see but the demons just tell them to look otherwise. At the back door, she drops the body, turns around and haughtily blows a kiss at the demons staring at her.
"So long, bitches." She walks out the building and gets into Sam's car, who had fallen asleep. "Sam." She shakes him. "Sam!"
He begins waking up slowly. "What—" He grasps his surroundings. "Oh. The wraith. She dead?"
"Dead as dead can be. Let's go back home."
"Alright." Sam starts the car and yawns as they pull off back onto the road.

The two pull up into the driveway. Destiny walks into the building first and Sam follows after. "Man, that was fast."
"You were sleep," Sam replies with a chuckle.
"Yeah, well, I'm gonna hit the can." Destiny goes upstairs to the bathroom after gathering her evening clothes for her shower.
Sam sits on the couch. Out of the basement comes Dean. "Hey Dean."
"So is it done? Did you kill her?"
"Not me." Sam points upstairs in the direction of the bathroom. Dean follows
the finger and scoffs. "What?"
"Just didn't think she'd be capable."
"Dean, you've seen her combat skills. There's not a thing that can stop her, much less, kill her. Literally."
"Yeah alright." Dean pops open a beer and sits next to Sam.

Destiny has been tossing and turning in bed for hours but can't sleep. It's three in the morning. She lets out a sigh. "Screw it." She tosses the covers off of her and gets up. "Thanks for washing these, Sam." She puts back on her favorite outfit: plain white tee with the unzipped black leather bikers jacket, dark skinny jeans and black Timberland boots. She slings her backpack over her back and straps on her bow. Deciding to be elusive, she leaves the window open. She creeps downstairs. She grabs her skateboard from by the door and slips out into the night.
