Here's just a small list of my favorite characters as of right now. This will probably change in the future.
Honorable Mention: Swiftpaw
As of recently I've really fallen in love with Swiftpaw's story and I love a lot of the AU's that people have been creating. Although going to find the dogs wasn't the best decision, Swiftpaw was just a young apprentice who felt the need to prove himself to his clanmates after being overshadowed by Cloudtail.10. Whitestorm
I find Whitestorm to be a very respectable cat. He's the perfect example of a warrior who has power in his clan and wasn't a deputy or leader. I know he was a deputy, but this is mostly from before he was deputy. Whitestorm was always very wise and listened to as if he was the deputy before he was and I find that cool. Idk what I'm saying might not make any sense, but I just really like Whitestorm.9. Brightheart
Now if you have been reading my art book, you'll know that I recently drew Brightheart. Like Swiftpaw, I am really in love with her story right now. Brightheart is just naturally kind and caring and didn't go with Swiftpaw because she liked him. No, how I view it is that she went because she wanted to help out her clan by getting rid of the dogs. Brightheart is very inspiring and relatable to me. She shows that despite any traumatic and damaging event that happens, you can still get back on your feet and move forwards.8. Hollyleaf
Hollyleaf used to be higher on my list, but now I just like other cats more than her. I always viewed her as a rule follower who just wanted to do what's best for her clan. I believe that her intentions were good, but she got into her own head and her demons got to her. Hollyleaf snapped and lost control. I love her relationship with Fallen Leaves and am sad that she was killed off so soon after she came back. I wish that Hollyleaf was an antagonist because she truly could've used her skills to be a much better antagonist than some of the ones we've had.7. Blossomfall
My favorite stories in general are ones filled with jealousy from another character about another overshadowing them. You may have noticed that some cats on this list share that common story. Blossomfall is one that I love and is the reason why I despise Millie. Blossomfall just feels like she gets overshadowed by Briarlight and is jealous of the love and attention her sister gets. This is what drives her to the dark forest and I really like her story.6. Ivypool
Like Blossomfall, Ivypool feels like she's overshadowed by her sister and is driven to the dark forest. As I stated above, I love these kinds of stories and that's why I love Ivypool.5. Mapleshade
Yes I know, a very common cat to like. My reason for liking her isn't that she's practically the only female villain, it's that her motivation behind what she does is very unique. All of the other antagonists in the warriors series (aside from Darktail. I really like Darktail too and he's similar to Mapleshade with his motivations. Just couldn't fit him on this list) use ambition as their motivation. Mapleshade's motives are from revenge and I love it. She's so manipulative and just a great villain in my opinion.4. Tawnypelt
I really like Tawnypelt's struggle in choosing her clan. It's pretty powerful and I wish that it was fleshed out a bit more. I like how she left ThunderClan because her clanmates thought that her and Bramblestar were going to end up following in Tigerstar's footsteps. It's funny how she left to follow in his footsteps and partially prove them all right. Idk again I'm probably not making any sense, but I find her a great character.3. Needletail
Wow can't believe we're in the top three. Anywho, Needletail is such a breath of fresh air from the ThunderClan centric series. She helps to show ShadowClan's downfall and the rise of the Kin where if it were just ThunderClan, we wouldn't have been able to see. I love the power and personality she has and find her a very interesting character to read. Her death scene was so sad and I'm pretty sure made me cry. In the end Needletail turned herself around and became a hero to Violetpaw which I find a very good character arc.2. Crowfeather
Now this is surprising isn't it? I actually really like Crowfeather and can't stand the people hating on him. Contrary to popular belief, Crowfeather was not at all abusive to Leafpool, Nightcloud, or Breezepelt. He was just being defensive for what he believed and never manipulated anyone, especially Leafpool. Crowfeather really loved Leafpool, and although he was upset that she left him to go back to her clan, he let her go and loved her enough to let her do what she wanted. I love Crowfeather even if he is an asshole sometimes. Sure, he wasn't the best dad, but Breezepelt turned out how he did because of Nightcloud too. If she never babied him, he might not have gone the way he did. I can't say enough about how much I love Crowfeather and am really excited for his super edition.1. Crookedstar
And number one we have Crookedstar! Y'all know how much I love this poor baby. His story is so sad, but he pushed through and is just such an inspiring character. His super edition is the only book I've read countless times and will continue to read over and over and over. I just love Crookedstar!
