[Favorite Villains]

Here's my list of favorite villains.

Honorable Mention: Tigerstar
Now the only reason Tigerstar is on this list is because he's the baddest of the bad. Tigerstar is the OG evil husky brown tabby tom with a lot of ambition. I read Tigerclaw's fury and it wasn't half bad so that helps. He's gotta be on this list cause, you know, he's the strongest cat in the forest.

5. Scourge
You know I'm not the biggest fan of Scourge. I never understood why people would fangirl over him, but he's not a bad villain. His attack on Tigerstar was such a shock and was really powerful. I like Scourge because of the element of surprise he has in the books and because he's not the cliche villain (large bulky and ambitious brown tabby tom with amber eyes. You know... like Tigerstar and Brokenstar and Hawkfrost.)

4. Thistleclaw
I always thought that Thistleclaw didn't deserve to be in the dark forest, but after reassessing my thoughts, I think that he should be. I like how Thistleclaw went from a somewhat respectable warrior to a baddie (similarly to Hollyleaf) where he's the reason for his downfall. He always had a hatred towards ShadowClan, but Snowfur's ShadowClan caused death just made it worse. Thistleclaw wasn't really out for ambition like the other villains which is what I like.

3. Mapleshade
Although Mapleshade is above everyone on this list on my favorite cat list, she isn't my favorite villain. She's very manipulative and out for revenge. The trait of manipulation is very important for a villain in my opinion. Mapleshade's actions are also very prevalent in the story which is nice.

2. Darktail
I feel like Darktail was not only a good villain, but he actually helped out Onestar's character arc. He made me like Onestar a lot more than I used to and was just a great villain. Darktail has the manipulation, the strength, and the motives behind what he did. He wanted to get revenge and actually succeeded for a while. Not to mention he also took down half of ShadowClan and ended poor Needletail's life. This is hard to say, but I think that Darktail is just a better Mapleshade.

1. Sol
And finally we have the most manipulative cat of them all, Sol. I love Sol so much as a villain. He's the perfect example of how to be a good villain without being physically threatening. Sol is manipulative, he's smart, he's sly, he's a heckling compulsive liar, and he's a hell of a good villain! Heck, he took advantage of Blackstar and convinced him to not believe in StarClan. A cat who received nine lives from StarClan was convinced by a loner to not believe in StarClan. He lied to SkyClan about his past and manipulated them (I haven't read the manga, but I've researched a bit about them). He's part of the reason why Hollyleaf became a cold blood killer. I just can't say enough about Sol. I love him as a villain.
