Tony came into the lab in the morning and surprisingly Harrison wasn't there yet.
"Hey beautiful" Tony said.
"Hey Tony" You said.
He kissed your hand and you blushed.
"I was wondering if we could go out for lunch later on?" Tony asked.
"Yeah. That sound great! I had no plans for lunch so yeah I'm up for that." You said.
"What time should I pick you up?" Tony asked.
He was leaning on the counter and he was twirling a strand of your hair on his finger.
"Um around 1 would be fine. I'll give you my number so you can tell me when your outside" you said.
"Sounds great babe" he replied.
You knew that you and Harrison would never be a thing so you decided to let tony give it a shot. You know his reputation and if he gets too handsy you'll just drop him and not talk to him again. But if he actually shows himself to be worthy you'll give him a chance to make you fall in love with him.
You imputed your number on his phone and he gave you a kiss on the cheek and said goodbye. You just stood there blushing.
"Wow. He's a hell of flirt" Caitlin said.
"Yeah" you chuckled.
"I thought you liked Harrison?" She asked
You stared at her shocked
"What no. Of course not. He's my boss/mentor and he's my best friend. Plus he's older than me." You replied.
Caitlin smirked at you.
"Like his age is problem. Tony Stark is ten years older than you. And you've dated older men. You always do." She said.
"God I hate you Caitlin" you said.
She just laughed.
"I love you too. But why don't you go after Harrison" She asked
"Because I know he doesn't feel the same way." You said
"How do you know?" She asked
"I've dropped major hints and he's never noticed them and I just gave up." You replied.
"Aww" She said
"Yeah I know. That's why I want to move on and date another guy. If tony is that guy then I should give him a chance to prove that he is the one." You said.
"What if you do start dating and he wants you to move in with him?" She asked.
"I don't know." You replied.
"Think about it." She said.
"Alright I will." You replied.
Harrison walked into the lab and you both stared at him. You were pretty bummed out about actually saying out loud that he doesn't feel the same way towards you. It was like you were finally confirming it to yourself and it makes it real.
Harrison seemed to notice that you were feeling down. He walked closer to you.
"Everything alright y/n?" He asked.
You just looked at him with your watery eyes and his eyes softened at the sight of you being close to crying. He took at step forward to you and you knew he was gonna hug you so you backed away and left to your office.
He tried walking after you but Caitlin grabbed his arm.
"I think you should give her some time to herself" she said.
"But I don't want her to cry. W-what happened? Who made her cry? Was it that stupid Tony Stark guy?" Harrison asked angrily
"No Tony didn't do anything. But I think when she's ready she'll tell you." She said.
Harrison just walked away. He put his hand on the wall and walked into his secret room. He put his back on the wall and sighed loudly. He had thought that you found out about Gideon and him being the reverse flash. He couldn't bear the thought of you hating him.
"Gideon please pull up any article with the names Tony Stark and Y/N" he told the A.I.
Gideon pulled up articles of the future with your name and tony stark. He saw a bunch with pictures of you and tony walking hand in hand to his car or wherever. He then saw another one with the title 'Tony Stark and Y/N engaged!'. He saw many more that covered your wedding with Tony. Later into the future he saw a magazine cover with you and Tony and you had two little boy twins in both of your laps and you all had huge smiles on your faces.
"Turn off Gideon" he told the A.I.
Gideon turned off and Harrison started shaking. He can't lose you. Not to Tony Stark. Not to anybody. He felt like crying but he's a man and he doesn't want to feel weak if he cried so he just punched the wall repeatedly until he calmed down. He went into his office and grabbed his hoodie and sunglasses. He wanted to go out for a walk. He saw you outside of the building. He watched as tony got out of his car to greet you and open the door for you. He had his reverse flash suit under so he ran after Tony's car. He saw you walk into a really nice restaurant with tony and take a seat at a table by the window. He walked across the street and sat at a bus bench there. He watched as you ate and laughed with tony. He followed you both until you went back to S.T.A.R Labs. Tony opened the door for you and hugged you. Then he did something that really pissed Harrison off. Tony Stark kissed you.
"Tony please don't do that again. I had a good time with you but that was inappropriate. We went out as two people who want to be friends. I don't know if we'll be something more but if you want to be more then friends you have to respect me" you said.
"I know. I'm so so sorry. It's just that you're so beautiful and I couldn't help myself. I was never one to believe in love at first sight but then I met you." Tony said.
You smiled at him and hugged him. You said your goodbyes and you walked into the building.
Harrison snuck into Tony's car and Tony didn't notice. He vibrated his vocal chords so his voice didn't sound the same.
"You need to leave her alone. Don't ever touch her again or I will kill you." He said.
"What the hell?! Who are you!" Tony asked.
"The reverse flash" he said.
"That's a pretty stupid name. But I love her and you're not gonna keep me away from her alright. So get out of my car." Tony said.
"You better watch out. She's mine! I won't let you have her!" He said.
"Too late I've already got her buddy. Next step is have her fall for me and that's the easiest step. Then I'll have her wrapped around my cock. Oh I can already feel it. God she must be so fucking tight." Tony said.
He knew that would anger The Reverse Flash.
Harrison was beyond angry. He wanted to hurt Tony. He wanted to kill him. He disrespected you. Nobody disrespects you. He grabbed Tony by his collar and punched him repeatedly. Tony was able to get out of his car and the reverse flash followed him. They weren't outside of the building anymore since tony has been driving and he stopped at a park.
The flash went for a punch and tony grabbed him and pointed his repulsor at him and that sent the reverse flash flying. It hurt Harrison badly and Tony walked over to him and was ready to take off his mask but Harrison gathered up his strength and pushed Tony off of him. He used his super speed to run away from tony and sneak his way into S.T.A.R Labs.
He went into his secret room and took off his reverse flash suit. He then put on his regular clothes and walked into his office.
You had spotted him. He was limping. He saw you staring at him so he tried to not limp so you wouldn't ask questions but you knew him so well.
"Harrison what's wrong?" You asked.
"Nothing. I'm fine." He said.
"Harry I know something wrong." You said.
You grabbed his arm and took him into your office. You sat him on your couch.
"Show me what's wrong" You said.
He hesitated but he knew you wouldn't let it go. He unzipped his hoodie and lifted up his shirt.
You saw the burn on the right side of his stomach. You grabbed your emergency kit.
"Take off your shirt." You said.
"Lock the door I don't want anyone walking in and seeing me shirtless." He said.
You nodded and got up and went over to lock the door. You made him lay down on the couch and he took his hoodie and shirt off.
"Bite onto something because this is gonna hurt a bit." You said.
He did as you said and you applied this cream to help soothe the burns on his stomach. You watched as he threw his head back onto the pillow and he had grabbed your arm and he had a strong grip to it. He screamed but of course they were muffled bc he was biting on his sweater. You put some bandage on him and watched as he calmed down from the pain.
You were taking quite some time to put on the bandages so you wouldn't hurt him and he was just staring at you as you did it.
